Question about Washing Machines
I purchased this item at a special reduced sales rate. Unfortunately, I can not find a manual. Can you tell me where I can get a manual for this item? Thank you! Frustrated in Indianapolis
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: black spots on white laundry
is the washer noisey when spinning? If so its probable that the main bearings are worn, & losing the original grease into the wash tub. At 10-14 yrs old its probably not woth fixing (assuming parts are still available)

SOURCE: I purchased a new washer/dryer,
call the store that you purchased it from and tell them about the issue most have a 30 day return policy, if not then tell them that you need a factory service tech to come and service the machine remember it is under WARRANTY !!!!!!!!!

SOURCE: special water hose needed?
i dont know of of a"special hose". are we talking about water inlet (hot and cold) hoses??drain hose??? or a vent hose for dryer???
1. stainless steel non-bursting fill hoses are available in up to 6' lentgh's
2. drain hose can be extended if need be, i would make it as short of an extension as needed, and use a hose of atleast the existing diameter and make sure that it wont, bent or pinch off after putting into drain pipe
3. dryer venting should be a solid aluminum 4" pipe as shosrt as possible with least amount of elbows needed.
all available at a quaitly home improvemnet store/ hardware store

SOURCE: Hi ~ I am considering
Sears / Kenmore top load, direct drive washers are made by Whirlpool.
Following is the Sears parts site for these washers with diagrams and parts lists.
From the main page you should also be able to link to their manuals site.
Following also is the Whirlpool Service Manual for these washers:
From my experience (I have one), these are solid machines without all of the electronic bells and whistles of the newer machines.
They are also VERY easy to fix if something goes wrong.
The main problems that I've seen are defective Lid Switches (it won't agitate nor spin unless the switch senses that the lid is down) an $18.00 part and worn/broken Motor Couplers, also very easy to replace.
