Sure it's a boiler not a furnace
if so air pressure may mean draft indusor is not leting out the flue gases may be blocked
if not blocked may have something in the tube or switch is bad would need more info to give correct answer

Peerless Boiler - Turned off boiler to replace Circulator for the hot water. Turned furnace back on. Did not ignite. Tried to hit the reset button for 30 seconds and nothing happened. Furnace will

Did you bleed the air out of the pump. The boiler has a flow switch that has to make before it will let the boiler lite. Make sure you have all of the air out of the system and are pumping or flowing water and not air...Also check to see if you didn't happen to of tripped the limit it has a manual reset. Red Button on the front of limit.

The boiler keeps cutting out and radiators cool down Sometimes we have to press reset button for hours before we get it going again .

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry but you have posted on the washing machine forum and I'm not sure anyone will be able to help you ;-0)
Having said that, would you believe this morning we had a delivery of oil and switched the boiler off for a couple of hours as per instructions. When I restarted it, it ran for a short while and stopped. With our boiler the oil injection/blower/electronics box has a red light around the reset button and how it flashes together with the number of times it flashes after each stop indicates what the problem is. Ours flashed 4 times, paused then repeated. If your reset button also has an indicator light illuminating it, does it flash in a similar fashion? If so I would write that information in your re-posted problem so that someone has more information to go on.
Sorry for the 'rant'!
Good luck,
John C
P.S. the problem turned out to be one of the smaller PCB's in it!

The boiler wont fire up and the blue light flashes once per second

Let's see what we can do to trouble-shoot this boiler--

First of all-- Are we talking about a Hot Water 'Boiler'-- In other words does this boiler heat water that circulates thru the house, to keep you warm?

Next-- What is your fuel?

Have you Shut the system down, to reset it?-- What happens when it comes back on again?-- Clicking sounds-- pumps trying to start-- solenoids trying to open, etc.-- Tell us what you observe-- so we can help you trouble shoot this problem.

ok now you said, the system was checked to be sure the refrigerant level was full . It could also be over full causing a over preasure shutdown. The compressor has a low and high pressure switch, that will disengage the compressor clutch if it senses a over or under preasure situation to protect the system.Did you check to see if the compressor clutch was Engaging and will it stay Engaged or disengage and keep cycling like that? you Will need to get the preasures on the high and low side of the compressor from a gauge manafold set and please record the outside temp. it will change the preasures in the a/c system than i can better help with the issue you have. also a/c will always work better if recirculated air is used, because it is already cooler than out side super heated air.

my name is ron and if you get the preasures for me i will be glad to check the preasures to My R-134 refrence card

a couple of things , is your filling loop disconected ? , and are all your radiators blead from air, have you got a high point where the air can get stuck in system say pipes going into roof etc you may need to fit a air release valve in line at highest point to remove the air from system , your boiler should be around 1.5 bar running preasure average setting . if you are constanly filling with water you could be exceeding the pressure valve limet which releases pressure from system this could be faulty ?

it means that the boiler wants to be serviced, the boiler will still work fine. Once the boiler has been servcied, there are a succession of buttons, that need to be pressed, to tell the boiler that it nhas been serviced. then 365days after it will do it again. Its there to prompt you, to get the boiler serviced

i need to know boiler specifics- make and model but sounds like either the air pressure switch seized or the main printed circuit board, if the boiler has an overheat thermostat please ensure that the little red button hasnt popped out because this will prvent the boiler firing up- refer to the manufacturers instructions for location of the o/heat stat
