It happens only when I use my iPhone. I make the call or answer an incoming call and the caller hears ann echo of what they are saying. I do not hear the echo but callers complain.

Alice. I would unpaid the headset. then reconnect it to see if it will improve. Note: To restore your headset to original factory settings, press and hold both Volume and Call buttons at the same time and slide Power switch to ON. Motorola Support

My motorola h270 bluetooth device will not connect to my sprint lg rumor 2 can you help me solve this problem. thanks

Charge your bluetooth device fully.
when ready, turn on your phone's bluetooth software (settings/bluetooth/on)
press and HOLD the power button on your device until it blinks 3 times (or continuously) wait for your phone to see it.
Usually the pairing code is 0000
the phone should let you know when it is complete.
Good luck.

Passkey for motorola h271

I couldn't find informations about the H271, but for the H270, the passkey is '0000' (four zeros). Most probably, it's the same code for your case.
Just in case you need further references, the H270's user guide can be found here.
Please, let me know if I can help you any further.
Regards, Carlos

Motorola bluetooth H270 solid blue light after pairing

I had the same problem. I plugged a USB charger into the headset and turned the power switch off. It worked as normal after that. I think it does not like to be "on" when the USB is disconnected. Anyway it seems the plugging/unplugging kick-started it.
