Hopefully you backed up your contacts through google. If you did just log into your google account and you can get your numbers back.

SOURCE: My phone is galaxy 5

It may be because of the network as most of the application on android market are of more than 2 mb. Try downloading a simple application with 300 kb or 500 kb if its gets downloaded then its means you need wifi or 3G network.
Else try and download task killer and kill few unwanted running application to restore CPU memory.

Hope it work.

Take your time to rank me.

Thanks,

SOURCE: Low on space. Phone storage space is getting low.

Hi Amanda :)

This could be a common problem for many phones. If im right you should be able to tell the phone were the sms are saved. Like were you saved facebook , there should be a meny somewere that tell you how to save on the SD-card. Because some phones dont have very much memory. They just want to sell more SD-card :)

Best regards
Joakim

BLU Advance 5.0 Android phone won't let me add apps as there is "insufficient space." File Explorer says phone storage is 99% full but shows few files anywhere in the folders

1) go to Settings, and under Device, click Storage, then click Transfer data to SD Card.
2) go to Settings, and under Device, click Apps, then for every app : click on the app name, then on storage, then on Clear the cache.
3) If you don't want to repeat this cumbersome process manually from time to time, many apps can do it for you. I personnaly use one called AppMgr III, installable from Google Play.

How to reduce data amount that takes storage space in facebook app on android 5.1 ? Cache can be cleaned everytime but data cleaning causes to reset all your log in information.

Hi Alito2123,

There is no way to reduce the data amount on the Facebook app. The developers are the ones who can reduce the data for the app. If you need the extra storage space use Swipe for Facebook or just use the Facebook mobile site on your mobile browser.

My Zte phone say low in space cannot use text message, Facebook or Pinterest

Steps to clear application cache on your ZTE FuryClearing the application cache removes temporary files and frees up memory - your personal settings or information remain intact.
Be sure you clear only the application cache and not the application data.
  1. From the home screen, tap the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll to and tap Applications.
  4. Tap Manage applications.
  5. Tap the All tab.
  6. Scroll to and tap the preferred application.
  7. Tap Clear cache.
  8. You've now cleared the application cache.

How can i free up space in my system memory on my net10 android lgl35

In any Android phone you can go to:
Settings > Apps

And you will find a list of installed apps. In this list you can:

1. Identify apps that you don't want and remove them (if they are not system apps) - click on the app name and hit the button, "Uninstall"

2. Identify apps that are taking up space and move their storage to the SD card - click on the app name and hit the button "Move to SD card". Not all apps will allow this.

3. Remove cached and junk data from apps that hog memory - click on the app name and hit the button "clear cache" or "clear data". This will reset the app to a fresh install state and remove things like your progress is it is a game.

If an app cannot be removed but you don't want it running and hogging memory you may see a button "Disable" when you click on it. This will stop it running in the background and writing junk data to your phone's memory.

Hope these tips work.

so you know that the game is running on other devices so it has to be a problem with the phone,, have you check your apps cache.. sometimes apps wont load/run if there is to little space on the memory/ram part of your phone.. try clearing data/cache on the app (NOT UNINSTALL) this should work.. with apps you dont use but are part of the phone do whats called a roll back by uninstalling updates.. then go into your settings look for update permissions and select ask before update . This way you keep your internal memory space free. and your system working faster

Hi!
Try moving your applications from internal storage to memory card first. Also install some cleaners in your phone like CleanMaster which might help you in removing unwanted files, clearing cache, etc.

How do you free up memory

There are quite a few ways to free up memory/space on your iPhone:

The first step would be to check what is taking up space on your phone. You can check out Settings > General > Usage and then check Storage.

After seeing what is taking up space, you could do any of the following to free up some space:

  • Try removing any apps you don't use.
  • Delete any videos you have already watched.
  • Save any photos from messages you've received and then delete the messages.
  • Backup your photos to a computer and then delete the photos in your camera roll.
  • Delete any music that may be stored on your phone.
  • Delete any voicemails you no longer need.

Hope that helps!

you probably need to clear the Cache on you phone. If the phone is an android phone:
  1. Step 1: Head to the Settings menu. ...
  2. Step 2: Find Apps (or Applications, depending on your device) in the menu, then locate the app that you want to clear the cache or data for.
  3. Step 3: Tap on Storage and the buttons for clearing the cache and app data will become available
