Yeah, i can cook on the elect. stove top and inside for about en-fifteen min. beforeit starts beeping and "f2" shows up on the screen. im really in no place to mess around w/ a stove when it broken. What should I do? I just finished cooking Thanksgiving dinner and heard a beep. I checked on everything I could find and then I noticed that the panel on the oven was saying F2-EO-. I tried to press the cancel/off button but it would not respond. None of the buttons work at all. It continues to beep once in a while. I checked the owner's manual and it was no help.

F2 E0 code is attributed to a short keypad with the Electronic Range Control (ERC). The recommended solution is to replace the ERC. If you can post back with comments I can locate a part number for you if you can give me the complete model number of your range (located along the opening around the oven door or lower drawer assembly). The model number includes a three-digit prefix. I would also need this to determine the manufacturer. This way I can research to find a part number and price and see if this is a repair you would wish to pursue. ERCs can be expensive on some models. I hope this helps you.

Here is what my online service manual for the F2-EO error code says
F2
- E0 Shorted keypad (also called touch
pad) 1. Check keypad connector for firm
connection (keypad connects to control board). 2. Press CANCEL. If error code
returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane
switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this
case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock)
there should be more of a code like fo/eo or f2/eo or f3/eo or f5 /0o .. if you have # 1 = analog t digital l failure / replace control..= #2 shorted key pad / = replace control /? # 3 oven tempt sensor = repl oven sensor or fuse .// # 5 ck door /latch sw = replace component .. hope this helped . mm ( re/ck codes and see if one of thes matches your problem .. mm pls leave feed back ..
HI, This seems to be another ERC issue. the temperature sensory circuit is malfunctioning. the oven will not operate while this condition exist within the ERC. This malfunction will allow your oven to over heat and may cause a fire. The second issue will be that the relay drive circuit is malfunctioning as well. If you cant cancel the error code and continue with normal usage, you will have to replace the ERC once more.
