Question about Facebook Social Network
When I attempt to share stories from Fox News on my Facebook timeline, I get a message that says,"Connecting to Facebook failed." When I move the cursor to "View Error", It says, "You must grant permission to Facebook in order to post to the timeline." Then I click onto "Try Again" and go through the same thing again. I never had this problem before posting things to my timeline. Why would they need my permission now?

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Up until a week or so ago, you could prevent all of those annoying postings but Facebook recently changed their privacy setting availabilities so now you can only block some of them. At any rate, you can stop your applications from posting without your permission, which is the most important setting with regard to public info.
To turn these off: HOVER over the settings link on the right side of the toolbar. Scroll down to application settings and click on that. Once there, go to the dropdown menu at the top and choose "authorized." You will then be able to scroll down your authorized apps and change various settings, as well as deauthorize apps you don't use or don't want.
I recommend checking this setting every time you add an app. Sometimes those postings that you don't even know about can be vicious and embarassing.
Good luck and happy Facebooking!
Come back if you have more questions. :)

This may be an issue with the version of Flash that you have installed -- if you have it installed at all.
Got to the Flash about web site to see if you have the latest version of Flash and upgrade/install as needed.
Additionally, when the Flash application request permission to use your webcam, be sure to approve and save your decision.

There is no way of "getting rid" of your Facebook Timeline. Once Facebook has moved you over to Timeline, that's it. For good.
