You may try to unplug it for an hour or two and then try it again.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: is lcd screen faulty

Hi,
It's probably a faulty contact strip for the LCD display. There is a ribbon cable with VERY fine tracks on it that clamps into a connector on the main board. If this has shifted, you will get the problems you describe. It can be unclamped, but often breaks the lugs.
If you wish it to be repaired it is possible, but may be a 50-50 for a positive outcome.

If it is still under contract or warranty, then go through the providers, otherwise you haven't anything to loose by having a go.
Buy a decent set of jewlers screwdirivers, and prise up the edge of the clamp. It's like a hinge with catches at the end. Remove and replace the ribbon sheet(cable) and click back into place.

This may solve the problem, or cause more of a problem. as I said - 50 - 50% success rate.

SOURCE: Need Master Reset Instructions

The same exact problem is happening with my phone right now. if you need to use it immediately then turn it on and quickly go to the settings menu to turn off auto-lock and try to avoid pressing the side buttons, don't let the phone lock by itself before you get to the settings otherwise you have to take the battery out and try again.

One use for the USB inputs on flat screens is to allow you to connect a USB stick or external hard drive and watch or view any external files you have.

Hope that helps!

Mintex 37 inch wide screen. remote is working however cannot change channel, input source or volum. only turns tv off. The buttone on tv doesnot work connot change input source or volume

Check if the remote is in TV position, that is, because most of the remote controllers have the feature that you can program them for use with another devices. Make shure that one button that says "TV" in pressed and released once before you try to change any function on the TV.

Volume and menu does not display

I had this problem on my Aquos (LC-46D62U). It was NOT a hardware problem. I recommend turning off the television. Next unplug the television for 5 to 10 seconds. This resets something for the television. Plug it back in and turn on the television. You should now be able to get your volume and other on-screen displays.
