Getting no power to my aftermarket cd player after I connect remote wire for amp to it. All fuses are good. What else can it be?

Use a different remote wire from the head unit. Some units have more than one. If that doesn't work use ignition wire for your remote. Sometimes there is feedback. Make sure your head unit and amplifier are well grounded.

Hazerd button broke now have no brake light

my guess would be that your brakes are at some point routed throw the hazards switch and since the button is broken power can't get throw to your brakes. I would try replacing the hazards and see if the problem goes away I would also check the fuses to see if any are blown.

Remote won't work

Many car alarms use an algorithm to "roll" the code. The code is different each time you press the remote. The brain knows which code should be next, if they don't line up, it won't work. Try pressing the arm/lock button about 10 times to re sync the units. If that doesn't work then it is possible that the fuse(s) for the alarm have blown.

I change the battery, now when you use the remote to start the car it does not work, everything else works.

If you are talking about an aftermarket remote I cannot help you. I seriously doubt if anyone can. (Although many may try to "guess".)

If you are talking about factory equipment, then you need to post the rest of the information so we know what kind of car we are talking about. YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE SIZE, AUTO or MANUAL TRANSMISSION, 2WD or 4WD, Etc.

I cannot find the fuse box for the heated seats in my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2000. Also the "thing" that tells me when I need an oil change, which direction I'm going, etc. is no longer changing when I push...

The heated seat fuse is located in the junction block behind the left side of the dash. It is fuse number 20, a 10amp fuse. As for the driver information center not changing the display when you push the button, I believe this is a single unit and a relatively common issue ( I have a Grand Cherokee in my shop, for a different problem, and it is doing the same thing). My guess is that the entire info center needs to be replaced to fix the issue. Good luck!!

Remote does not work

Here is a trick i use to see if remotes are working. most people these days have camera phones or some kind of digital camera that have a live picture feed mode before they snap an image. Grab your camera of choice and point the remote at the camera while your viewing this live feed. press any button on the remote in question and you should be able to "see" the infra red led light blinking. if you dont see any blinking then the remote is the problem. try different buttons if you dont see anything at first.

Dvd audio quieter than vcr audio

There may be an audio adjustment in the dvd player that wasenr set up at the factory correctly. depending on how old the unit is I would contact the manufacturer and see if its under the factory warranty as you DO NOT wanna go inside and start turning controls as this will or could throw the entire alighnment out of the dvd player. I(f theres no warrantee then you could ask them if theres an audio output adj and what the pot # was. Or else your gonna need to get a service manual and throw ya back a few bucks. But my guess is that if you bug the service guys enough they will tell you where the adjustment is. Good luck
