I need a code for a memorex dvd

Your code is not listed on the manual . Try searching for the code. Here is how: (P.S. if the search function does not work you may have to try a different brand of universal remote.) SEARCHING FOR YOUR CODE If your device does not respond to the remote control after trying all codes listed for your brand, or if your brand is not listed at all, try searching for your code. NOTE: Before performing a code search for a DVD player or a VCR, turn on the device and insert the required media. For example, to search for a code for your TV: 1. On the remote control, press TV once. 2. Press and hold SET until the LED (red light) blinks twice, then release SET. 3. Enter 9 - 9 - 1.The LED will blink twice. 4. Aim the remote control at the TV and slowly alternate between pressing POWER and TV. Stop when the TV turns off (after pressing POWER). If the device does not have a Power key, you can substitute another function, such as digits 0 ~ 9 , CH, or PLAY). NOTE: In the search mode, the remote control will send IR codes from its library to the selected device, starting with the most popular code first. 5. To lock in the code, press and release SET.The LED will blink twice. 6. To search for the codes of your other devices, repeat steps 1 through 5, but substitute the appropriate device key for the device you are searching for. here is the manual for your remote:

How to Configure your Linksys router with wireless security

Launch your Internet Explorer, Netscape or your Mozilla.

On the Address, Search or URL, type: http://192.168.1.1, then hit Enter/Return. A login screen will appear. Type admin for the password and leave the username blank or empty then hit “OK”.

Note: If it doesn’t take admin as the password you might have changed it when you have ran the RUN ME FIRST CD that came with the router so try other passwords.

If you cannot remember the password, I regret to tell you but, you have to reset the router and, reconfigure it again. Next time, remember the password to avoid unnecessary reset and reconfiguration.

To reset the router to factory default
1] Press and hold the reset button for 30 sec., after that
2] Unplug the power keep holding down the reset button for another 30 sec.
3] Then, plug back the power keep holding down the reset button for 30sec., after that
4] Release the reset button.

Note: Configuring WEP in the router varies depending on the model number and firmware version of your Linksys Router.

Cisco Interface (If your Setup page has a Cisco Logo)

Go to Wireless Tab > Wireless Security > Click the drop down arrow then select WEP:

Regular Linksys Router Interface (If your Setup page has a no Cisco Logo)

Under Setup > Click WEP Key Settings or Edit WEP Key Settings

Using passphrase 64bit
Encryption LEVEL 64bit > type a passphrase > click Generate > copy key1 on a piece of paper (10hex character). Then hit Apply or Save Settings.

For manual key entry of 64bit encryption:
Encryption LEVEL: 64bit > Under Key 1 type a 10 digit character from A-F and 0-9.
(e.g.: A0B3F58C9E, 0123456789, ABCDEFABCD). Then hit Apply or Save Settings.

Using passphrase 128bit
Encryption LEVEL128bit > type a passphrase > click Generate > copy key1 on a piece of paper (26hex character). Then hit Apply or Save Settings.

For manual key entry of 128bit encryption:

Encryption LEVEL: 128bit > Under Key 1 type a 26 digit character from A-F and 0-9.
(e.g.:0123456789ABCDEF9874561230, 012345678901234567890123456, ABCDEFABCDABCDEFABCDABCDEF).

Then hit Apply or Save Settings.

If you want better security for Vista computers, you may want to select WPA personal (WPA-PSK) under security > set the Algorithm to TKIP and type your personal security code (any code you want, any characters)

Then hit Apply or Save Settings.

I want activate the WEP,WPA, OR WPA2 i DONT UNDERSTAND THE PRODUCT MANUAL. I woul like have your support. Salvador Tinajero

Step 1 Log into the web configuration of the router by opening up a web browser and typing in the IP address of the router (192.168.0.1).

Click here if you cannot access the web-based configuration.

Step 2 Enter your username (admin) and your password (blank by default). Click OK . Click the Home tab and click the Wireless button on the left hand side of the screen.

Step 3 Select Enable next to the WEP radio buttons. For WEP encryption select 64, 128, or 256-bit encryption. For the Key type select HEX. If you have an option for Authentication type, select Shared Key.

Step 4 Select Key 1. Enter a Hex encryption key that you make up. The length of the encryption key will depend on what you selected under WEP Encryption.

  • 64-bit encryption 10 characters
  • 128-bit encryption 26 characters
  • 256-bit encryption 58 characters (available on DI-614+ only)

  • The encryption key is HEX, meaning 0-9 and A-F are valid characters. For example, A4583DFF1A (64-bit HEX key).

Step 5 Click on the Apply button then click on the Continue button to save your settings.

Note: If using non-D-Link adapters, please refer to the manufacturer´s documentation on enabling encryption. Note: Not all D-Link routers, print servers and access points have a web-based configuration utility. Please check the manual for your particular product. In particular, the DWL-900AP does not have a web utility while the DWL-900AP+ does have a web utility. You cannot gain web-based configuration utility functionality for the DWL-900AP by installing the DWL900AP+ utility.

When entering the IP address of the D-Link device (192.168.0.1 for example), you are not connecting to a website on the Internet or have to be connected to the Internet. The device has the utility built-in to a ROM chip in the device itself. Your computer must be on the same IP subnet to connect to the web-based utility.

    http://vivitar.com/support

There's a 1-800 number you can call to contact vivitar support.

    http://manualsforall.com/vivitar/vivitar-camera-manuals.html

The above link allows you to download the manual for $3, but I didn't do that.

I would try the 1-800 number to see what can be done about htis problem with mising character sin the configuration menu screens.
