SOURCE: Router doesn't obtain WAN IP address (DHCP)

you can hook the router up and go into the settings by when it is hooked up to your computer, type in http://192.168.0.1 and the password is usually user or admin. the password is usually password, unless it was changed. you may be able to change settings to fix this problem through that GUI

I m unable to connect wifi for my samsung 65 led tv

Does the TV have WiFi enabled? Is it in range of your WiFi router? Is the place where the TV is located a WiFi dead spot? Does the TV see your WiFi router, and is it the strongest signal in the TV's locality? Are your neighbours using the same WiFi channel as you? Have you got the router set to block MAC addresses? Is the TV set to use DHCP? Is the router handing out IP addresses? What security level are you using? Are you putting in the correct WiFi password? The list goes on and on.....

I need a pass through wifi router

The best soultion is to install a hub or a network switch.
If your wireless router has LAN ports then connect your computer with a LAN cable to the wireless router.

The problem most likely is not the router problem since the router use DHCP as default setting.

My samsung touch wifi is hanged

Try setting up a static IP and see if that works. If that works, then at least you know you have DHCP problems, which are mostly likely on the server itself (your router, etc.). If the static IP works, then go to whatever your DHCP server is and look for an option to clear all previously remembered leases. Then go back and start fresh again by re-enabling DHCP on the phone or did not solved Try restarting your router..Had similar issues with Linksys. Then delete and recreate your Wireless profile on your phone.i hope it is helpful to you thanks

Wrt54g2 dhcp problem

You must enable the DHCP setting on wireless router if you've configured the computer's wireless adapter to obtain an IP address automatically. If not you will get the "failed to acquire an IP address" error when you try to connect to wireless network! Also don't forget to configure big enough IP range on router's DHCP setting, because the router won't be able to assign IP to 6 computers if you only configured 5 IP space on router.

I purchased the lg an-wf100 dongle. It connects to my wifi but is asking for a manual ip entry. I have a 42lg5500 led tv. The manual/automatic field is frayed out, so is the DNS field.

Sounds like your router isn't set for DHCP. Try entering an IP address that isn't in use on your network. You'll find the IP address range in your routers settings. Either that, or set your router to DHCP. Hope this helps.

Matt
