Question about Health & Beauty
Jazzy z11 hand control lights up,hut fare lashes the lights and wont move, normally that means the breaks are on or its plugged in
There are a couple of possibilities. If some of the LEDs are flashing at the same time, it's a trouble code. You need to count the LEDs that flash (it's between one and ten) and refer to the troubleshooting guide here:
Pride Mobility Products Corp Basic Troubleshooting Instructions
If the lights are rippling, the controller may be locked. Locking and unlocking instructions are linked from that page too.
IIRC, the Z11 comes with a VSI controller. Use the link to the Jet 7. It has the VSI too.

When my Pronto did this, it was diagnosed as a failure of the controller. Replacement was about $1200. Good Luck.

you have either bad batteries or a bad charger or the charger might have come unplugged at the controller or power module. When you have the charger plugged in and you turn on the joystick the lights on the joystick should ripple to indicate the charger is plugged in. If you don't see this ripple then either the charger is bad or disconnected. Trace the charger cable from the rear of the chair (you have to remove the seat and shroud to do this) to the front module and make sure that the cable is plugged in. Hope this helps

There is a series of diagnostic flash codes associated with the controller. The diagnosis depends on which color and how many lights are flashing. If you post the combination, I can help you. Or you can download the Basic Operation Instructions of the Pilot Controller from the Pride website. The codes are listed on page two on the troubleshooting instructions.

SOURCE: Jazzy 1121 power chair won't go
I find a lot of the controller Problems are caused by the cable running from the joy stick down to the controller gets caught on something or rubbed against something and one or more tiny wires inside are broken ... If I find a spot on the cable that is worn through, that's where I start .. Open up the insulation and check the tiny wires .. fine the broken one and repair it .. usually that solves the problem and saves you a couple hundred for the cable
