Question about Denon Audio Players & Recorders
Carousel CD player needs repair. Hopefully its a simple fix; its old, works fine other wise and would like to keep it going if possible.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

likely yes. does not sound like coincidence. try this: search ebay for an AS-IS item for $1 and use it for part-swapping. first to swap-the main circuit board holding the micro chip.

This has to do with a mini switch inside the door mechanism that it pushes once but with the bounce phainomenon in electric pulses it thinks that you pushed the cd door inside manualy and it tries to close the door. Try replacing this mini switch. this will solve your problem.

SOURCE: Tray Sticking on CD Player
reoccurring tray problems are a paim. It mauy be a spot of oil or grease on the tray motorbelt, or the wrong belt fitted, and or dry failing bubricant to opening cam and sliders. Best approach is to strip and clean everything, lube only with white plastic grease, and sparingly. I use graphic powder on tray sliders, be careful not to get lubricants on drive belts. try next size down belt also, or be sure the belt fitted is 2.0 mm crosssectional area

I DO NOT think that problem related with CD cleaner
3 possibility here
1 The loading belt was lose it can not open fully to reach the switch open when the time limited was out as program design from system control it automatic close
2 The loading gear system out of position 1 tooth
3 Dry joints on switch open and close or connector from CD tray to system control intermittent contact
In any case it require a qualifier Tech from Panasonic to reset the timimg gear or service
I hope that give you some ideas if you need further info or service manual I am willing to help you out

This has just happened to us. Often when the changer tries to select a CD on random play, it somehow knocks one CD off the carousel, usually on top of the other 5 CDs and then you can retrieve it easily. This time it knocked it down behind the carousel so the drawer could not close. We left the drawer open, carefully took the player out and tipped it upside down and then tipped it forward. We then closed the drawer while it was still upside down and then turned the player back up the right way. The loose CD fell onto the carousel and we could then open it and retrieve the CD. No damage to either CD or changer and we are now listening to music again!
