Hi Tracy,

Unplug and reboot the DCP-150 C. Ensure each of your cartridges are seated properly by doing all if necessary in an order. Let it set for a couple of minutes .Power it back up and run diagnostics. Las but not least, should there have been a paper jam. Go through the order. Make sure all the droor and interlocks are satisfied by checking each one of the entry points. Simply open and close. You got this!

Here is a link for cartridge resets for a similar machine. There is a variety of help videos around this you tube link on the side bar that may suit you if this one does not. This step is tried, after, the first method of suggestion failed.

Fresh ink cartridges won't print at all.

First visit our Epson support page to ensure you covered : http://inkjet411.com/?page_id=1939

Since the Epson PRINTHEAD is not removable, then it is suggested you take a damp cloth and repeatedly blot/saturate the respective color ink port with water (distilled water is recommended):

1. Remove suspect ink cartridge (or cartridges).
2. Place a paper towel under the PRINTHEAD assembly.
3. You'll see a round mesh ink port where ink flows into the PRINTHEAD.
4. Thoroughly dampen the ink port with 0.5 to 1 teaspoon of distilled water (use an eye-dropper or similar, pour or drip directly into ink port).
5. Reinstall ink cartridge(s).
6. Activate the 'Clean Printhead' routine once or twice to see if the respective color(s) have recovered.

Won't Print Color Ink

INK PROBLEM
Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out and blocking the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

Hp office jet 5610 wont print colors correctly

Some printer software that detect ink levels won't recognize a cartridge that's been refilled. They treat the cartridge as empty although you've filled them with ink. You can try removing the HP software that pertains to the printing functions only (not the scanner abilities). You can also do a Power reset. Remove the printer cartridges, turn off the power, remove both the Power cord and USB cord (if applicable) for 10 minutes. After reconnecting the USB and power cords, install the cartridges as you normally would. The printer should treat them as new.

My printer goes through the motion of printing but the paper comes out blank. I've an hp deskjet d2360 and there is ink in it

Possibility cartridge print head dry.

Solution 1:
Do a clean process
cartridge automatically. Press START - Control Panel - Printers and Faxes - HP Deskjet d2360 right click and select Printing Preferences - Select the Color tab - select Printer Services - select Clean cartridge, wait for the cleaning process is completed - Perform Test print. If the print test results, has good graphics, press Finish. If the graph is not clear or drop out, repeat the cleaning process once again.

Solution 2:
1. Open the cover printer, cartridges will move to the middle position.
2. Remove the cartridge (be careful, do not touch the element cartridges or print head by hand), then stick the tip cartridge (print head) to clean water
3. Then, attach the print head to a tissue paper. If there is a tissue paper used in ink (black cartridges, black block lines, and color cartridges, three color red yellow blue lines), means the flow of ink to the print head is normal. If the
tissue paper no trace of ink, attach back into the water, repeat the above process.
4. After process is complete no.3, clean the cartridges with a tissue paper (careful, do not touch the element cartridges or print head by hand, because it will damage the cartridge). After cartridge clear of the water, insert the cartridges into printer.

Will only print yellow, black and photo black-- red cartridge shows ink in window and I just refilled blue-- cartridge was only out of printer a few hours. I've cleaned the print head a number of...

There are a few things here that will do this. One is the cartridge is a smart cartridge and unless you reset the chip it either won't print or shows low. If you filled it before then this shouldn't be it. If you have refilled the cart more than a few times they sometimes just stop. This is either the ink has jelled inside or the little feeder sponge is dried out. If you changed ink brands sometimes the ink reacts with the old stuff and jells. The other is the jet or any feeder tubes are plugged with dried ink. Usually happens if you haven't printed for a while. You can try running the cleaning cycle and it will take quite a few of these sometimes before it starts working.

There are a few more tricks for cleaning such as using white vinegar to dissolve dried ink but that's a bit of the messy side sometimes. Usually we have just had to buy a replacement cartridge after spending the time on this. We eventually just got rig of our ink jets and got some of the cheaper color laser printers. Wish we had done that sooner.

New ink cartridge load test run prints lines on paper then tells me to take tape off cartridge which i've already done ???????

1. I would shut the printer down and pull the cartridge back out.
2. Find a Number 2 pencil with a good eraser on it.
3. Pull the Ink Cartridge back out, and use the pencil eraser to clean off all of the copper contacts that are behind the cartridge.
4. Replace the cartridge, and run a head clean process.
5. Align the heads and test the printing.

That should fix your issue.

My Canon Pixma will not print yellow or cyan on my mac?

In your user manual, look for cleaning process. Your printhead is probably clogged, and that is why yellow or cyan wont print. You must go trough process of cleaning or deep cleaning in your printer software preferences.

Im not sure for exact procedure on MAC but it should be something like this: go to system control panel, find there your printer and open it's preferences, there should be something like maintenance mode, and from there you should find cleaning or deep cleaning buttons.

If you cant figure it out, search for user manual online, Cannon has good user support and im 99% sure you will find out user manual for your printer. In user manual there is written exact procedure for cleaning your print heads.

Also make sure that your cartridges are not empty maybe?

HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE PRINT HEAD? WHERE ARE SOME PIX TO SHOW THE PROCEDURE?

OK, since nobody answered my plea for help, I merely opened the Canon monster and yanked out the printhead after lifting up the lever. (WHAT was so hard about that, that nobody could explain it here?!)
Cleaned printhead using warm water & ice-cube tray & paper towels. Just let it soak all the excess ink out for a while, then allowed it to dry.
Changed cartridges, put new color cartridge in...
HOWEVER!!
THE DA*NED THING STILL WON'T PRINT YELLOW (altho it will print a faint hint of yellow). WHY IS IT DOING THIS?
Why is Canon marketing such a piece of cr*p that the end-user cannot maintain it? Canon USED to be a quality name-brand.
