A dead microwave is usually caused by a blown or melted main fuse. The fuse can be found by following the power cord inside the microwave.

If there are no fuses or circuit breakers, the unit could be down and out. Check you power box for any tripped breakers.

I have a Model#SMH9207ST microwave. Lost power during use. Outlet & panel all work fine. I replaced the 2 20A fuses yet still no power when plugged into a working outlet. what do you suggest?

There is a thermal fuse located under the cover, between the cover and the top of the cooking cavity. Chances are that part has gone bad.

Advantium display reads "nite"

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes. Feel free to contact me directly (see below) if you have other questions.- William E. Miller, AS-EET

If you don't want to roll the unit out, then turn the circuit breaker off in the panel. The quick disconnect does not reset the electronics for the compressor. Try that and see what happens.

Kenmore built in microwave displaying "D" and wont heat.

"d" may mean demo mode. The first thing to try is a "hard reset". Unplug it from the power outlet for 10 minutes, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.

No power

To enter the time you must push the clock button once before you enter the time and again after you enter the numbers. Try that and you should be all set.
