When you log on to the library site, your browser should display the log on details for you simply to click the login button. If the "keep me signed in" button is ticked then there are two possibilities.
Firstly and probably most likely is that the library website does not allow people to remain signed if there is no activity on the site for a period of time which they select.
Secondly, if you actually use the "logoff" or "logout" button on the site when you leave it then this will override the "keep me signed in" setting.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

Can I get a paper manual for rca Galileo laptop/tablet mailed to me? I somehow have locked myself out of online manual!

Hello -

Instead of wanting someone to print a paper copy of the manual and send it to you via traditional mail, here are some suggestions.

1. If you reside near a public library (one funded with local or regional government finances), check with the library to find out if public-access Internet-connected computers, with printing capability, are available. If so, find out the days and hours the library is open and schedule your time to go to the library. You will probably have to sign in at a library service desk for Internet computer access.

Then, go to this web page:
Choose the link to the manual for the Galieleo Pro.

You will see a PDF document which you can have printed to a library printer (ask a library staff member how to go about it) and pay for the printing.

2. Another option is to ask a friend with a computer and printer to go to the web page noted above and print the manual for you. Be sure to offer to pay for the printing.

Note: The PDF document of the manual is 35 pages long.

Best wishes.

I cannot access my account

Using public library computers without security precautions can be hazardous to your online identity. Particularly with online services, you should enable 2-factor authentication for your accounts, if available. Someone can easily place physical or software keyloggers to get your account information on these public computers. See About 2 Step Verification Accounts Help

For a compromised gmail account, go to Having trouble signing in and fill in the account recovery form.

Why cant i get back in my g mail been in 4 times in 20 minutes at libary their computer

No web-based program or application, such as Google's Gmail, is 100 percent safe and secure, no matter how many security and privacy precautions come built in and set as default.

Every Internet user is responsible for ensuring his own security online, and you can maximize your protection by practicing good common sense and using tools and settings on your computer and, as recommended by Google, within Gmail to maintain your privacy.
Privacy Settings

You can authorize or block certain websites from accessing your Google and Gmail accounts. Sign in to your Google account and click "My Account," and then click "Authorizing Applications & Sites" to see and edit the list of sites that have access to your information.
If you access your Gmail account from public computers, such as those at a library or school, or use public wireless networks, change your Gmail account settings to connect using only Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure, or HTTPS, connections.

Aside from creating a unique, secret password that you use to sign in to both your Google and Gmail accounts, you can set your account recovery options to ensure that no one else can get your password emailed to him.

Sign in to your Google account and click "Recovering your password" to set your outside email address, cellphone number and secret question.

These will be used to contact you if you legitimately forget your password or will warn you if someone else is trying to gain access to your accounts.

Additionally, Google offers two-step verification as an optional layer of security.
Two-step verification requires you to log in using your username, password and a code that's sent via text message to your cellphone.

Check for Unauthorized Access If you suspect your Gmail account has been compromised, you can verify all your recent activity. Log in to your account and check the bottom of the screen for a Details section next to Last Account Activity.

This will show the time, date and Internet Protocol address of the last time your account was accessed.

If you don't recognize these details, change your password and then check your mail settings to ensure nothing has been changed.
Good Practices
Never share your password with anyone, and use a password that's difficult to guess.
Don't be fooled by official-looking emails that ask for your personal information, login name or passwords.

If you use a public computer, don't check "Stay Signed In," and always clear the cache and cookies once you've signed out of your account to prevent someone from being able to find your information.

  • What does "Keep me signed in" mean? If you check the "Keep me signed in" box, you can stay signed in to Yahoo! on this computer for up to 2 weeks or until you sign out. To protect your personal information when you access some Yahoo! services, we may ask you to enter your password again. The "Keep me signed in" checkbox applies to this computer only. If you're using a public computer, we recommend that you uncheck the checkbox. You can also modify the number of times you're asked for your password by clicking on My Account at the top of most Yahoo! pages once you sign in. If you do so, Yahoo! will ask you to verify your password more frequently, although your sign-in screen will still indicate every "two weeks". (More information on modifying your sign-in settings)
  • What is this image at the top of my sign-in box? It's a sign-in seal - a feature to help you protect your Yahoo! password against fraud. (Find out more about sign-in seals.)
  • Not seeing your sign-in seal? If you set up your sign-in seal but now no longer see it, you could be on a fraudulent site. Look carefully at your browser's address bar. A genuine Yahoo! sign-in page will always display just before the next forward slash. (Read more about identifying a real Yahoo! sign-in page.)
  • Concerned about password security? Yahoo! submits your ID and password using SSL, which provides a level of security when transmitting data. (More information on password security.)
  • What if I forgot my ID or password? Look up your ID and/or password after confirming some personal information. Remember to use your full Yahoo! ID (e.g. to sign in.
  • Having problems logging in? Did you forget to include your full Yahoo! ID? If so, please remember to use your full Yahoo! ID to sign in.

As you sign in, click the box - keep me signed in. This is on the yahoo sign in dialogue box.

Ebook cannot be previewed because license has expired, then it says this computer is not authorized to view thereader library

Hi kertisaw!

Maybe you have a borrowed book from a public library. Try the following:

1. On the upper right corner click on the "List View" button (the one with horizontal lines)
2. Check the name of the expired book and you can delete by giving a right click.

If the ebooks are all from the Reader Store, then Adobe authorization got corrupted. Try the following:

1. Sign in to your eBook Store account
2. Click "My Account" at the top of the page
3. Click on Manage / Rename Devices
4. Click "Deauthorize" for the computer you are using
5. You will be automatically logged out
6. Sign back in

Check on your library if the problem persist.
