If the equipment has gas in it and has been sitting for more than 3 months, the gas is probably "bad". Gas breaks down after a few months and turns thick and then leaves a varnish type film on parts.
Empty the gas
Take it apart and loosen the carburetor bowl (single nut on the bottom)
clean the bowl with brake cleaner (leaves little to no residue)
Spray the other carb parts, do not try to disassemble carb
Put about 1 pint of new gas in tank
Let gas flow through lines and carb (put a container under the carb to catch gas as it comes through "open" carb
Put bowl back on carb
Take the air filter off
Fill tank with new gas (add gas preservative to he unused gas can)
Try to start it, you can use starter fluid if needed
put air filter back

If your blower has issues you may have to go to a repair shop.
i had the same issue and finally resolved it by buying an electric blower...works every time.

Hope this helps

Without seeing in my shop it will hard to tell exactly what is going on. I have ran into a couple starting problems with Ryobi blowers. They carburetor were either being over choked or not enough choke. Both were Ruixing carburetors. Something you can try to find out if it is the carburetor into add a little fuel mix directly into cylinder through the spark plug hole.

Depending on how long you have had it, it may still be covered by the warranty and I would check into that if I was you.

I have a factory refurbished Ryobi ZR08510 blower/vac from the factory. I cannot get it started. What should I try first?

Hi Paul:
I'd start by pulling the spark plug, attaching it to the lead, then spin it over and check for spark.
This will probably be a 2 cycle motor (Check to confirm) so make sure your fuel is mixed correctly.

I am looking for a spare part for a Ryobi 30cc Petrol Mulching Blower Vac RBL30MVA Do you stock them

FixYa.com is not a parts place, so no there are no parts here.

If you are in the USA, I recommend you visit Home Depot or Sears or possibly return to the store where you purchased the device to find parts. You may seek the parts you require at a small engine repair shop in your area.

There will be several FixYa.com advertisers specializing in Ryobi parts whose message will be found around this answer, who service your area. Be nice if you could support them.

I hope this is the info you needed to get going on your project. Thanks for visiting FixYa.com today.

Proper gasoline and oil mix ratio.

My echo uses 50-1 ration. Home Depot sells the small containers for Echo Leaf Blowers that you mix with one gallon of gas.
