if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

Maytag DE303 Dryer

first check and make sure the power breaker is on. next the door when it closes there is a safety switch normaly there is a small hole around the frame of the door. when you push on it, you shoud hear a clicking noise. if you don"t, that switch will prevent the tumbler from turning another thing is the belt that goes around the tumbler if it's loose or broken the tumbler will not turn. that can be checked by accessing the bottom panel in the back the belt should be tight. good luck!

Maytag Neptune Dryer not heating

Q - My electric dryer runs but will not heat, what could stop my dryer from heating?
A - Things that could stop a electric dryer from heating:
- house fuse or breaker ( needs two of them ), heating element, burnt wire, thermostat(s), thermal fuse ( not all models ), motor heat switch, timer, selector switch, burnt power cord/plug.
A ohm meter test for these parts is here.

I am looking for a tint trap for a Maytag dryer model #DE303 Series 07 Serial # 189625 XJ

Try partsstore.com as they do have your part in stock. I would phone them to make sure their website information is correct. If for some reason this did not help you you can try the chat portion of this website

Maytag model

You really need a volt / ohm meter to check for Continuity & VoltsIts well worth the investment... $15.00 bucks give or take a few

I would check to see if you have 220v to back of dryer where the cord mounts to dryer,

If dryer is getting only 1 leg 110 volts instead of the 220 will it not heat.

Check themostates & heater for Continuity... Most models, Now have a.. Hi-limit fuses that need to be checked for Continuity they have to be replaced
