Post photo of timer so it can be identified.
Or describe timer in detail, including what it controls and if timer is digital or analog
Otherwise this model number appears to be fixya fiction

I have 2 intermatic lamp & appliance programmable timers. On the package the model number says: TN811C and on the timer itself says: TN811. Anyways I have read the instructions and I can't figure out...

1. To Set Program:

Pull up one tripper

between hour marks

on the 24-hour dial

for each 1/2 hour of

ON time desired. For

example, if timer is to

be ON between 12-2

PM, all four trippers

between those times
must be pulled up.

2. To set time

of day: turn dial

clockwise with the

arrow head pointed

to the correct time.

The dark area

denotes PM and

the white area
denotes AM.
Straight out of the manual. Pull up trippers for all of the time that you want the device to run.
Rotate the time of day dial in the direction of the arrows.
The off/on dial will override the timer until it comes around to the on time again then the timer will control.
Good luck.

No instruction manual came with product. How do I set the timer? Which 2 outlets are always on and which are controlled by the timer?

What product do you have?
It sounds like an outdoor yard stake with receptacles, where the bottom one-or-two receptacles are always on, and the upper receptacles are controlled by timer.
If your timer is digital, we need to know the exact brand and model number in order to dig out the instructions for you.
If you have a dial-type timer, then you usually set current time by rotating dial. And you set on-off times by moving segments or pins back and forth or up and down. This action depends on the model of timer you have.
Answer back with more information and it is possible we can help you.

I have the GE Plug in Mechanical Timer Model 15119. I have the pins pulled up on the white side at 5 and on the black side at 5 and the side setting on the timer position. Yet when I plug it in the wall...

We had the same problem when we first tried to set our timer. Although we have a newer model, this might work for your timer as well. The pin for each 1/2 hour interval that you want the device to be "on" must be pushed toward the perimeter of the dial, not the center of the dial. For each 1/2 hour interval that you want the device off, the pins should be pushed toward the center of the timer. Don't forget to move the arrow on the dial to the current time just before plugging in the timer. Be sure the switch on the side of the timer is moved to "timer on", the override is "outlet on" for when you want your device to come on during the time that the timer is set to have your device turned off.

I need an owner manuel for Caloric Range Model # EST 345 I can'g figure out how to run the self cleaning oven cycle.

you might try the following, although it is the instructions for an old model, it may be relevant;

"The actual self-cleaning process is initiated by a simple 5 step procedure: 1. Set the range clock to time of day. Note: on models not equipped with an automatic oven timer, the self-cleaning cycle is preprogrammed for a 21/2 hour cycle. Use Steps 3, 4 and 5 only. 2.Establish the length of cleaning time by:
A. Setting the start time. Press and turn the start dial of the automatic oven timer clockwise to the desired starting time. B. Set the stop time. Press and turn the stop dial of the automatic oven timer clockwise to the desired stop time. Max time is 3 hours miniumum 1/12 hours. 3. Set the oven selector dial on the control panel to "Clean" 4. Set the temperature control dial to "off". If you temperature control dial has a "Clean" position, then set the dial to "Clean" instead of "Off". 5. Remove oven racks, broiler pan and broiler grid from lower oven. Close and lock the oven door by moving the latch lever as far right as it will go - into the locked position. If the lever is accidently dislodged restore it to the locked position. Otherwise, the self-cleaning process will not take place. Shortly after the cleaning cycle has begun, the oven temperatur reaches a degree in excess of the normal broiling temperature. The red "Clean" light will come on and the clean cycle will start. In a few minutes the door lock lever, which you have placed in the locked position, will automatically be secured to prevent the oven door from beging opened during the cleaning cycle. This latch remains locked until the clean cycle is complete and the oven temperature reduces to normal baking and broiling temperaturs. NOTE: Prior to self cleaning cycle operation, the oven and surface lights must be turned offed. The upper oven can be used."
