1st remove the hoses and check the filters in the hose and in the water valve.
if water valves r open and machine is in fill mode then the water valve is defective.
Timer may not be activating valve but if u can't monitor the voltage on the valve replacing the valve is cheaper than the timer.

Hi, My candy CIC60 tumble dryer has stopped drying and the empty water light is constantly on. The timer works. I have cleaned all filter, emptied water, checked for loose wires and I can not see a problem....

Tumble dryers are really not around my neck of the woods however I have studdied them just in case they do begin to show up around here. What turns on the light and kills power to the dryer when the water tank is full? A float switch. I bet that float switch is stuck. Probably something simple like that.

Hi, It wont fill up when the full tank light is on because it thinks the tank is full. Remove the tank and feel down inside where the tank sits into the machine. You should feel the switch, it sounds like it is stuck down.
