Question about Cell Phones

I have requested for the replacement of my mobile in service centre 11 days back but it is not yet replaced, I am having DOA number so i want to know the status of it.

I am contacting the service centre people regularly but there is no proper response from them.

Contact a TracFone service representative. Dial 1-800-867-7183 to report your SafeLink lost or stolen. Inform the representative of the estimated last date of use. Give a detailed description of where you may have lost the phone or how it got stolen.

    You cannot send messages because the message centre number stored in your mobile may be wrong.


    Please enter the correct message centre number. To get the correct message centre number please call your service provider and they will provide you the number.

    The LCD screen has been damaged in transit. Can it be replaced


    If purchased new/used/refurbished and shipped to you. Then along the way was damaged or arrived to you "DOA" = Dead On Arrival , you are more than entitled to a replacement. Contact who ever is needed to be contacted and inform them the product was DOA. If they deny you in any way, inform them that any product purchased has a 10 day return policy at the time of shipment and if they do not replace and or fix your product you will get in touch with the B.B.B and report them. If purchased from an individual, simply contact the payments department you made the purchase with and inform them the product was DOA, you are shipping the product back and would like to request a refund of your money.

    I had purchase a samsung J150 model mobile .after one day fault comes in display .the service centre given DO letter for replac.now 10 days past the distributer playing with me.anil...


    I don't know where you reside and what your service is like.

    Here in QLD, of Australia. It seems that if you have a mobile that breaks down after as little as 1-7 days. They do not automatically replace it with another one. They send it back to the manufacturer and request a replacement.

    This process tends to take anywhere from 10-14 days. When the Mobile Phone Reseller sent the phone away, they should have given you paperwork about it.

    Consult the paperwork. See if you can contact the Manufacturer (Repair Centre) they sent it to and get them to tell you where it is.

    If you have no luck, either finding a number to call etc... Go back to the Reseller and ask for them to call the Repair Centre on your behalf.

    Every contract has a cooling off period. Unfortunately, the Phone Carrier doesn't care that you don't have a working phone and they are generally unable to assist you.

    If nothing else, going back to the reseller may speed things up. Also the Reseller should have given you a replacement phone whilst the other one was away.
