I know this sounds like a silly question, but is the solenoid good (I've had new bad ones bfr. If you have a voltmeter put on ohms in kohms position and you should get at least 4k ohms. Flick thru the ohm settings and see if you get a reading. Also check that you haven't accidently put on backwards check to see if board is supplying voltage to the solenoid.

Water dispenser doesn't work

Hi Eugene Perillo

Check where the water comes into the refrigerator and you should have a solinoid valve...maybe two...if only one...replace the valve, it is defective or has debris or dirt causing the valve not to work...if you have two solinoids then replace the one that feeds the water to the dispenser because it is defective.

My brema ice machine dsnt wanna work, it just stopped. do they have reset buttons

Not really.
Check water supply and filter first. Then check to make sur the fill valve in the cube tray has not frozen shut.

It might only need to be defrosted and refrigeration coils cleaned of dust and debris..

Pour about 1/2 cup of water into ice maker . If it dumps , replace the water valve . If doesn't dump , replace the ice maker . Also make sure the coils are clean of dust , lint , etc...the temperature(it needs to be 0-4 degree F for the ice maker to start) may be defrost problem send me a note if you need info on that

Water solinoid staying closed when turned on

Usually energising electricity to a solenoid will allow the water to flow. Try your unit with the water line from the solenoid unattached. Then you will know when it is trying to get water to the ice maker.

Kitchen aid ref, ice maker quit making ice

hi my name is mark, do you have a water filter on this unit. shut off water to ice maker. remove water line from ice maker, hold water line in a bucket slowly turn on water. if you get water. then the fill solinoid has failed. if you do not get water trace water line back to water shut off. if it is the solinoid valve. you will need model and serial number to order part

New install

The machine is suppose to start filling, then after 45 seconds or so turn on in the harvest mode then when the temp gets where the sensor says its suppose to be it starts to freeze.

If water keeps coming out the over flow the water valve may be stuck open and this is why you can't make ice its letting in warm water all the time. Try turning the water off to it and see if it freezes a batch. If so replace the water inlet valve or remove and clean it

Sub Zero 532 Freezer Not Making Ice

These all sound like there is no water coming into the ice trays. The main water valve where the water feed line comes into the unit is probably plugged or not working at all. The solinoid may not be opening the valve..If you can operate a voltohm meter then test the solinoid coil to see that it is good by seeing an ohm reading below 1000 ohms. Also if you are crafty enough you could unplug the wires from it and connect 110vac directly to the solinoid coil to see if it clicks and lets water run in.. Also be sure the water is coming to the solinoid...If water is coming to it and the solinoid is letting water go through when fed directly with 110vac the problem is in the control circuit that operates the ice maker.
That problem would be on the Ice maker itself...
