SOURCE: Does anyone know a simple way of replacing the drip tray? When I removed the back the drip pan was half under the fan assembly and then wrapped around behind the compressor with some of the coil line
I agree. I have been repairing appliances for 25 years and heve never replaced the style you have. I would be a pretty difficult job. Because of its function, if the caulk is holding you should be ok. I just looked up your drain pan, the Part # is 12477402. It looks like the refrigerator would need to be tipped up and the frame for the compressor and condencor would need to be taken down.
I hope I have helped a little.
