Question about Apple Audio Players & Recorders
So without my years out of date apple id and password I cannot authorize my new pc to recognize my pod. The email info Itunes had on file is from at least 5 years an 3 service providers ago.
You can call the iTunes help line, available through Apple.com/support It's a HUGE pain of a process but they have access to everything. If you are trying to transfer purchased content from a previous device to a new Apple ID though I don't believe Apple has cleared that process yet. You may need to just create a new Apple ID. That being said, depending on the type of iPod and what operating system it is on, restoring it should correct the issue of removing an old Apple ID.
Power it off. Open iTunes. Hold down the home button and keep holding the home button as you plug it in to the computer. Don't let go until Itunes pops up the alert about a device in restore mode. This will re-image the device. You will lose all content on it, but it will also remove any passcode or accounts.
If you are on iOS 7 or 8 though you will DEFINITELY need the Apple ID and password to remove the account, this was a new security feature apple pushed last year.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
Here's a link to this great service

Try to do a restore:
Connect to your computer and open itunes.
When you first open itunes you should be in "Devices"
Make sure you're in the "Summary" tab and you will have a button that says "Restore"
Click that and it will do the rest.

Ur Ipod shuffles needs to be reset to factory setting, you will find the utility for Mac and windows machine at:
1. Reset the ipod using the utility
2. Run itunes application to create profile : after you have reset the Ipod just start itunes and it will ask you to provide a profile name, just provide any name and select okay.
I had the same issue, got it sorted using the windows utility.
Should work for u as well.

SOURCE: how to install music in
You will need to download install and run ITunes from Apple.
You can downlaod Itunes here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Once you have Itunes download and installed on your computer you will start Itunes
Once itunes has started then is ithe time to install/transfer the music that you will want on your ipod to it.
After Itunes has started then you will connect your ipod to the computer using the data cord supplied with the ipod...
Once you have the ipod hooked up to the computer and itunes open, Itunes open it will recognize the ipod and then you can highlight the songs you want to put on the ipod.
Please take time to rate me thumbs up

You have to manage your iTunes account in iTunes. Follow these instructions to change account information.
You can change your Apple ID name, password, or billing information at any time.
Choose Store > View My Apple ID, and sign in.
Make your changes, and click Done.
Your changes take effect immediately.
If you also use your Apple ID in other apps, you don't need to update your information in those apps. The changes you make in iTunes apply to all apps in which you use your Apple ID.
If you have an AOL account, changes you make in iTunes don't affect your AOL account on the AOL service. For example, if you change your password in iTunes, the password you use to log in to the AOL service doesn't change.
