my new lg optimus one p500 is having a dust inside the screen..
within 15 days of purchasing the cell phone the dust is getting increase day by day.....after cleaning the dust from authorised service center its coming again on the screen.........ohhh ghoosh.. im fed up wth this new lg phone (lg optimus android 2.2 froyo.based) lgp500.

You must of gotten the ROM bootloader chip wet. You can buy a cheap GoPhone from AT&T and put the SIM card from the LG into the new one and you will have your contacts on the new phone.

power off phone, put in sim card, power on, hit cancel key for invalid sim or secrity message, then put in restriction code 48570552 and hit enter key. your phone is ready for use. Have fun and live for free.

ok, the oven for an hour at warm temp got it working, then had no battery but worked on charger with batter in. took battery apart and found the that ground from the battery was not connected to the ground (-) of the termial. I soldered a small jumper from the battery ground to the termial ground and battery was fully working. then had problems with phone shutting off all the time. today i lightly soldered all 4 pins of the battery and the 4 pins on the phone. then put battery back in and melted 2 corners of the plastic together to keep battery from moving around. this was the oppasit side from the battery eject button. phone is 100% working now with no problems. cost $0

You most likely need a new ribbon cable, which is the cable that connects the two halves of the phone. They are not expensive and can be ordered on eBay, and they come with the tools required to disassemble the phone and replace the cable.
