Question about FreeMotion Exercise & Fitness
I have tried to read the manual and search on line. i have tried to run the motor and go up and down with the controls.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Likely the cover of one of the motor brushes popped off. Unplug the machine before you pop it back in place, then try it again.
If that doesn't work, most likely it's the motor control board, or possibly the console, or finally just a loose connection behind the console.
But most likely, it's the motor brush cover. I've been seeing that alot with this model.

i ran into the same problem today with another proform model. i shut the machine off and lifted the platform to the stow position and brought it back down, turned it on. it worked fine during a workout. i was using an ifit sd card when it got stuck. were you? just wondering.

I have the exact same problem with the very same treadmill that i bouth 10 years ago and it has been sitting for 5 years unused. The last time it was turned on it worked but now that I plug it in and try to start it, everything works but the belt drive motor. Any ideas?
