If both the monitor and the computer have VGA connectors, it will work.

How do I get a manual for my Asus M11AD CA006S

The User's Manual for all versions of the M11AD is available from the Asus product support page in various languages: http://www.asus.com/ca-en/Desktops/M11AD/HelpDesk_Manual/ . The direct link to the English version of the manual is http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/Desktop/M11AD/E8496_M11AD.pdf . Just skip chapter 2 unless you upgrade the operating system to the older Windows 7 (which many prefer). The FAQs and drivers are available here: http://www.asus.com/ca-en/Desktops/M11AD/HelpDesk_Knowledge/ . Just click on the appropriate tab.

I hope this helps. If you need help with Windows 8.1 or the apps/features, please add a comment with the specific area (mail, settings, etc.) with which you need assistance.

Monitor on but getting no picture. The setting is DVI

Are you using a DVI cable to connect the monitor to the computer? Try changing the monitor setting to analog if not using a DVI cable.

Why doesnt my monitor work with my asus p4s800-mx?

Check to insure the video card is seated properly in the motherboard. Make sure the VGA connector is snug. Finally, check if the monitor works on another computer.

When I connect my ASUS monitor to my Dell laptop the ASUS monitor displays nothing instead it says "No Signal"

Hi

You do not say if your laptop screen is working or not or why you want to use an external monitor.

Assuming the laptop has no fault and boots properly, to send the laptop image to an external monitor, once you have booted into Windows, press and hold the Fn (function) key bottom left of your keyboard, near the Windows Logo key, then simultaneouly press the Function key (above the numbers) with the image of 2 monitors, 1 dark, 1 bright (often the F4, F5 or F6 key).

If the laptop's screen is faulty and the above procedure does not work, there may be damage to the graphics card which will probably require specialist repair.

I hope this helps.

I have a compaq presario pc. Motherboard is Asus P5LP-LE : Lithium UL8E. I have 3 Gig of RAM installed, a 400w PSU. I have just purchased a new graphics card - Radeon HD5570. My MoBo has 1 PCI-E x16 and 3...

Hi,

I think you have not connected power connector to your Radeon HD5570 .
This graphics card have 6pin power connector .
You need a 6pin power connector cable that comes with the graphics card box.

1.First connect your 6pin power connector to Graphics card.
2. Then connect other part of the cable to PSU.

Hope it will work for you.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Cannot connect DVI in asus LCD monitor MS202N and the conputer

Hello,
I don't understand why you cannot connect?
If your computer does not have a DVI connector then you need to purchase a DVI-VGA adapter.

When powering on get no input to monitor board nu a7n8x-e

Make sure you have connected into the correct video port. DVI should be used for LCD monitors and VGA should be used for CRT monitors. Since both ports look the same people often get confused. Try it and let me know.

My computer is only 2 years old. I recently moved and hooked my computer back up yesterday. I turned it on and the monitor says no service input and automatcily goes into sleep mode. What do you think is...

The monitor is not detecting that it connected to a video card. You did not specify which computer model but if there is only one then you must ensure that the connectors are seated properly. If there is a built-in connector and a add-on video card connector also then make sure that the monitor is connected to the correct connector. When the computer is off there will be a yellow light indicator on the monitor and when the computer is booted it will turn green normally.
If you have another computer, even a laptop you can connect the monitor to that to ensure that the monitor is working and the cable has no bent pins at the connector therefore verifying whether the trouble is at the computer end or monitor. Please repost if you try these steps and still need help.

EVGA 8800GTS g92 with ASUS P5VD2-MX SE

Suggestion 1: Try switching your Monitor's plug from one DVI to the other. This shouldn't do anything, because your graphic card should display the booting sequence on all connected monitors... however, doesn't hurt to try.

Suggestion 2: New graphic cards are quite a power-hungry monsters... are you sure your power supply is up to the task?
Your current configuration could help in this regard + the make, model and rated Wattage of your PSU.
