If you want to very best method, buy thick cut (1.5" - 2") steaks. Cook indirect at 225 degrees until internal temp of meat is 110 degrees. Remove meat, turn all burners on high and sear meat over burner/charcoal (direct cooking). Remove steak at 125 degrees internal temp for med-rare.

On the grill! get yourself nice dryrub at your local food store and throw it the grill. i dont let my temp get higher then 300 i cook them low and slow!

No definitely not once it has been defrosted thats it the best way is to cook it rare, then freeze it nice and hot all the way through when u want it cook again to the way u want it

the size is 3 ounces. size depends on thickness shape density. that's why they measure by ounces its the only way to measure the size. its like 4 or 5 mouth fulls. very small portion. most steaks are at least 8 ounces

I'll use this analogy. What if I where to post, "how much will groceries cost this month?" I probably am not going to get a lot of responses since nobody knows how many people I need to feed or what I plan I buying.

What tempature and time to smoke ribeye steaks 1 inch


Hi kdmadden1...

Prepare the smoker for barbecuing by bringing the temperature up to 200°F to 220°F
(95°C to 105°C).
Put the steaks in the smoker and cook for about 2 hour for Medium Well to Well Done.
Check your steak at 1.5 hours to see how it is doing...maybe almost rare to medium rare...
During the last 15 minutes of cooking before the meat is done, you will brush the meat with some of marinade,bbq sauce,etc if you want.

Yes! I would not wast them and they will be fine when heated up!

Unsatisfactory grilling


You need a bigger, more powerful grill. It sounds like the one you have cannot keep up with the amount of food you want to cook. Other than making sure any controls are set on maximum, there's not much you can do about this. Return the unit for a refund.
