the sound card can be an onboard chip, built into the motherboard or a card installed into the mother board and thus more information is needed to assist you. You can get into device manager and delete the sound card driver/ items and then restart and windows could redetect it, or you can get the proper driver package from the motherboard, computer, or sound card manufacturer to reload it. I also can remote into the computer to determine what's wrong and attempt to fix it.
Can you give more info on the computer, motherboard, sound card or manufacturer of system ?
Hot Spots? sounds like wrong motherboard drivers or not updated overuse of cpu by stuff running in the background, toolbars and the cooling system not working properly. maybe need some paste under cooling fan and on top of processor or GPU where fans are located. Youtube can give you more info on how to fix things.
you cant. the computer adjusts it automaticly from info it recives from sensors. if its smoking a lot its because your turbo isn't working properly and its not getting enough air. problems could be exaust leak, intake leak, turbo wast gate stuck open or not closing all the way. or a sensor is giving the wrong info to ecm. check for trouble codes.
I assume you've checked the fuse in the plug? What are/were the symptoms? Does anything work or look/sound like its on/working?
If not then it could be a motherboard/processor fault.
Hope this helps, although i'm not sure it will. Try to give us some more information about how it stopped working please, imagine if you went to the doctor and said "my friend stopped working, what was wrong with him?" he wouldn't have a clue ;-)
Good luck and let us know as much info as possible if you need more advice.
its not working maybe because you didn't program the remote properly. So I wouldn't know if you programmed the remote rightly or wrongly. You can go through the below manual(s) for your Logitech Harmony 600 programmable remote, read through the steps/instruction on how to setup the remote as this will guide you and put you through the right step.
Note that the manual(s) is in pdf format, so you mush have adobe reader installed on your computer. Also, the manual might take some time to load, so you have to be patient still it loads complete before you read through.
