The disc is probably the software needed to convert you music cd's to mp3's, which is the file type most players use.

I connect my mp3 to computer but nothing happens

Well, try go to the Start Menu, and go to the All Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools, and finally Disk Cleanup! This will allow you computer to clean up all excess junk or programs that you haven't used to free up a ton of space!

If you already did that, depending on the model/ make of the MP3, did it come with a start up disk, and instruction? If not, this is what I would do, go to My Computer, and check to see if the MP3 drive is active, then double-click to open the window, and then copy and paste your music on there, that you have save in your My Music Folder, and see if the MP3 have your songs on there, this is the manual way of putting music on any MP3 Player, if Not ?

Send me some info: Maker/ Model ; Brand Name; GB/MB on MP3; yes or no on the start up disk?

Can not sync MP3 player.

just go into your my computer, click on the removeable disk and it should bring it up. If that doesn't help, from your my computer menu, right click on the removable disk, click properties, and change the properties accordingly. There is no disk that comes with it.

Can't get videos onto my sansa

with the sansa e260 a disk comes with it and you need to install the formater that is in the disk...put the disk in your computer and then the compter will start to load a page that has sever options then click the button that says install the sansa media converter...once its done converting(converting may take a while) the video should be on you mp3 player if not the video has been dumped (or placed) somewhere...you will want to go to file (this is in the sansa media converter) and then click output folder...then follow where the out put folder goes....then once you have found the video left click it once then right click it then click cut...then open up my computer go to the mp3 player then go to the video folder in the mp3 player then right click somewhere in the window and click paste then it will transfer...after the transfer unhook you sansa from you computer and check the video...(it will be sideways just to let you know.....its supposed to be that way so you get the biggest picture out of that screen)

Need help setting up mp3 player with music

Hi, if this is a generic mp3 player - they are more flexible than the apple ipod and MUCH cheaper! I use 3 different types. Firstly commect it to the computer, If you are using win xp on then you won't need a driver. The computer will tell you in the bottem right hand side of the screen that it has found new hardwear. When it says it's ready to use start my computer (double click) ans there will be an extra icon in there called 'removable disk'. Double click on the disk and you will see that it's just like a hard disk. drag and drop mp3's into the folder and voila! you have music on the mp3 player. There may be more than one new icons in my computer - if so, only one will work, leave the other one alone as it holds system files for the mp3 player. NEVER format the mp3 player of use defrag on it - it ,makes them inoperable. just delete the files held in it when not needed. The mp3 player can also be used as a standard memory stick, just drag and drop the files you want to save / transfer etc onto it's window.if you want to turn your cd's into mp3's goto http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/download.html and download and run the audiograbber FREEWARE and it neasily converts audio cd's into mp3's on your hard disk ready for use in thye mp3 player. If you get stuck using audiograbber then let me know and I'll talk you through it

Windows Driver for MP3 missing

FORMAT:Formatting
When using your MP3 player for the first time you should format it. Formatting prepares the disk (storage medium) for any reading or writing. It erases all information on the disk, and tests for any bad sectors or errors. Below are the steps for formatting your player: -Connect the disk storage (MP3 player) to your computers USB port. If the computer pops up a window asking what do you want windows to do? Click cancel. -Right click on My Computer and click on Explore. COBY 2 GB MP3 PLAYER

Hello,

I'm not sure what you have to do,
but I've had a problem kind of like this.

In "google" you write down the name of your mp3-player,
followed by "software" (<name mp3-player> software)

Nomally you'll find the software your player is using.

Then type: (<name mp3-player> <name software> download) in google,
and there should be a link to the softwaredownload

Do not know how to delete songs from my player

Attach your mp3 player to your computer, and once the computer finds the new hardware, double click on my computer to open, once its open you will see removable disk, double click on that to open. When that opens your songs should be there, if they are high light the song you want to delete then right click on it, a small window will open, look for delete and click on it. Another small window will open and ask if you are sure you want to delete it, click yes.
hope it helps

That is the video converter you'll need to put videos on.

To transfer music try using Windows Media Player, if wmp does not recognized it; open My Computer, look for "Coby Mp..." or something like that.open it and drag media to the corresponding folder.

Hope that fixed it
please rate.
