Hello Murray Munger, thank you for your post!

I see that you are having difficulty with your Frigidaire washer stopping mid cycle and possibly not starting back up. From what you have described it sounds like a faulty control panel or wiring harness. You may want to have a technician come out and diagnosis your washer because he will have the appropriate tools to check and assure that the voltage going into each component is correct and if needed be exchange the faulty part. Hope this is helpful. -Matt

Frigidaire Affinity ATF7000E Front Load Washer locks the door then it doesn't start. What's wrong?

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand the door locks on your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000E, and the load does not start. Please try resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and try any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that some of the cycles will not work on your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000E. I also see that the lights won't light up either. Mywashermakesahummingnosieandwontspin

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF6000F, is making a humming noise and will not spin. If your load is too small, this can cause your washer to not spin. Add a couple of similar items to help balance the load. On the other side, your washer could be overloaded. Try taking out some items and restarting the cycle. If neither of these is effective, try resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. When power is restored, run any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

My frigidaire affinity front load washer buzzes and will not cycle what wouldcause that?

Good Morning Friend,

I see that your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000E, is buzzing and will not cycle. Some possible causes of this could be:

-Your washer is overloaded with clothes. Try taking some clothes out and restarting.
-There could be an article of clothing that might have slipped in between the gasket and the drum that might be stopping the drum from spinning. Check to see if there are any clothes that might be missing and possibly stuck between the drum and gasket.

If you have tried the above solutions and are still having trouble, I suggest giving your washer a hard reset. You will do this by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes. After the time has passed, restore power and start a cycle. If your appliance is still buzzing and not spinning, I suggest that you contact your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your washer and determine the cause of the buzzing and why it is not spinning. Hope this is helpful.

My Frigidaire Affinity washer stopped working in middle of cycle and shows E41 code.

Hello Shawn Smith - Typically error code E41 indicates that washer has detected that the main control board thinks the door switch is open. Try reprogramming the washer by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. If it proves to be ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately and properly assist with the repairs.

My Frigidaire Affinity is brand new. Just did our first load of laundry and mid cycle it stopped and the PAU is lighting up intermittent with the time left. I have tried everything I can think of and it...

Hello Mary Fortner - It means that the washer has been paused; the cycle has been interrupted. Either the "Pause/Cancel" button or "Start/Pause" button has been pressed. To resume wash - press "Pause/Cancel" or "Start/Pause" once. If this does not prove to be successful please turn the breaker to the unit off for 5 minutes. Then turn the breaker back on to the unit, and retry the cycle setting again.
