My mouse wont get recognized

Have you tried to use the mouse in another computer to determine that the mouse if fully working. There are many reasons why it could be non-recognised. Has it ever worked on your system? Is it new and just a faulty mouse. It may be you could just take it back to the shop for a replacement one. Do other devices work in the same USB port. Some times my computer just stops recognising my USB keyboard yet it has been working for months. I found that it seems to be the USB port where the problem is. So not I just switch my mouse and Keyboard usb connectors around and it starts to recognise both again. I can not figure out why it stops. As another device is recognised suggesting the port is not faulty.

Hey my toshiba laptop pad mouse dosn't work it's frozen ,,i only bought it before 10 days ..and i can't use another mouse help me plz

This problem may occurs due to hardware fault or due to some setting changes doesn't matter that you did or not but sometimes it happened because of some other programs.
Here is the solution if it's not a hardware fault:
* Click on Start button
* Then select Control Panel
* Now select the Mouse option
* Under Mouse option window click on Device Settings and in that window touch-pad should be listed...
* Enable it.
Hope this will solve your problem.

Drive not recognised

Sounds like a possible problem with the usb ports. Does the usb drive work on other pc's? If so, does your laptop recognize other usb devices (flash drives, mouse, keyboard etc.)?

If your laptop won't recognize other usb devices all the time, try this: go into device manager, go to the bottom, expand 'universal serial bus controllers'. Starting at the bottom of the list, right click on each item and left-click 'delete'. At some point you will likely lose your mouse/tochpad as it is probably an internal usb device. If this happens, press the power button on the laptop once to shut it down. Restart it, and windows will re-detect the deleted usb hubs and hopefully fix the problem. If this doesn't do it, go back and delete the other usb root hubs and host controllers. This is totally safe for your system and often fixes this issue. Windows will always re-detect hardware at boot time.

let me know if this helps or not :)

Hello, it seems that the problem comes from your mouse: can you test your mouse on another computer and check if it does the same? If yes, you'll have to change the mouse

Vaio VGN-A617B laptop not recognising PCGA-WMS5 Mouse

http://www.vaio-link.com/login/login.asp?site=voe_en_GB_cons Try that link, put in the product code and serial number. Updated drivers usually help those issues. Any drivers that come with a computer/labtop are almost always out of date.

Laptop mouse not working

Uninstall the mouse sofware again and remove the mouse reciever. re install driver and re connect reciever, but in a different usb port if possible, if still not recognised it maybe that the mouse needs pairing to the reciever, so refer to your manual for help on that.
