Try physically taking your inside unit outside, and replacing the inside unit batteries as close as possible near the outside unit. Once the transmitter has found the signal, it should lock on and continue to work. Good luck.

Why is there a red blinking light on outside sensor? This is only 2 weeks old and new batteries were put in then.

The red blinking light, I believe is indicating the outside sensor is transmitting the outside temperature data to main weather station unit.

Auriol 4-LD3091 weather station will not pick up sensor

I had the same problem and gave up on the unit for a while, then I had another attempt and found this worked for me. Take the batteries out of both units (receiver and outside sender) then reinsert the batteries BUT put the batteries into the outside sender unit FIRST, this seems to make the difference as when you then put the batteries into the indoor base-station it detects the outside temperature signal immediately as it starts to set itself up .

Have an old chorotherm III and a new T8601D2019 chornotherm IV, wire designation for the first is W,G,R,RC and Ywith R/RC jumper, wire designation for the new one is C,OT,OT,R,B,W,Y,O,G, OT goes to outside...

Hi, all you need to connect are Y to yellow for cooling, w to white for heating, G for green is fan, R to red for hot. If you don't have RH and RC to jumper on the new stat, don't worry, just connect R to red. B and O would be used on a heat pump reversing valve, C is for common back for 24 volts which you did not use before, and OT's are all for out side temperature sensors if you had them. Best of luck,

I tring to change thermosat I can not remeber what color go where

Typical Thermostat Wiring for 4 or 5 wire Heat/Cool Thermostat (not heat pumps)
4 Wire Termostat
R = Red One Side of 24 volt Transformer
G = Green Blower
Y = Yellow Cool
W = White Heat
5 Wire Thermostat
with one transformer for both units
Rc One Side of 24 volt Transformer
Rh Jumper Rc to Rh
G = Green Blower
Y = Yellow Cool
W = White Heat
5 Wire Thermostat
With 2 transformers one for indoor unit
And one for outdoor unit
Rc = Red One Side of (outside) 24 volt (outside transformer)
G = Green Blower (outside transformer)
Y = Yellow Cool (outside transformer)
Rh = Blue One side of (inside) 24 volt (inside transformer)
W = White Heat (inside transformer)
COOLING ONLY Thermostat
R = Red One Side of 24 volt Transformer
G = Green Blower
Y = Yellow Cool
HEATING ONLY
R or Rh One Side of 24 volt Transformer
W = White Heat

Outside a/c unit hasnt powered on yet and I want to make sure my RH and RC wires are correct.

Connect the red to RH

Go down to the furnace and look at the circuit board and note what color's go where. Most units only use 4 wires.

Should be
RED to RH
YELLOW to Y
WHITE to W
GREEN to G

Then from there two wires go to condenser outside. And they connect to Y and C on the board. Most of the time Red and White from outside. Don't get confused with Red coming from thermostat. Let me know Ken
