Question about Cell Phones
I am guessing you don't have Google account sync on this device.
Your other option will be to hard reset the device:
Hard reset will mean that you will get your phone back to the original state you got it in from the box. All data, contacts and messages will be deleted.
So, you need to know that all of this information is given "As is" and no one can take any responsibility for your device. If you do this wrong or Brick your device.
Here is a step by step explanation:

1. Remove the battery and insert it again to turn it off 2. Now that it is off you will need to hold the Down Volume key 3. And while you are holding it down, now you will need to press the Power key like the previous one hold it down also with the volume key. 4. When there is an android and triangle with a exclamation point appears let go of the keys. 5. Scroll the menu with the down volume key and select the wipe data/factory reset with return or OK key. 6. Now you will need to scroll down again and choose yes to delete all user data and press return or OK key again to select it. 7. Once the reset is finished then you will need to scroll down to wipe the cache partition again to select it refer to step 5/6. 8. When all wipes are complete then press return or OK buttons to "reboot the system now". Hope this helps you always, also remember that when you have done this better to Synchronize a Google Account to easily unlock the device. Just go to Settings > look for Accounts & Sync > press Add Account > Login or Sign up your account and your done.
