I changed the Motor but it was not the Problem
The motor was the expensive part. I would have checked the switch first. If its on when you hold it buttndoesnt stat on when you let go then its most likely the switch that button engages is not staying seated and pops out instead of waiting for the signal at the end of the cycle. If its a newer and under warranty dryer then warranty it out but since I'm guessing its not, weigh the cost of a new one vs paying some company to fix it. You may be able to find a replacement switch online like eBay. This would not be to hard to change out.
