Hi,

the default lock code on many Nokia smartphones is 12345
If you did not change it and you have the request popping it is referring to the security code of your SIM card and you can read it on the plastic part that is usually written near the PIN and PUK.
If this is still failing try to remember which 5 digits you changed it to and be careful as you only have 5 attempts. Failing this the only way is to reinstall the firmware.

SOURCE: Resetting Security Code

SIM pin code:
This is a pin code that locks the sim card until you enter the correct code. This protects your account, even
if your sim is put into another handset. To reset it, you need the PUK code:
Pin Unlock Code (PUK)
If you miss key (or forget) your SIM pin code, and enter the wrong one 3-5 times in a row, the SIM will lock up, and you’ll need to enter the PUK unlock code to release it. You should ask your Network Service Provider for this code when you need it. Don’t try to guess it, because after a few wrong guesses, the SIM card will be permanently disabled.
Phone Security Code:
This locks the handset, as opposed to the sim card. You can also set some handsets to only accept a “new” sim if the phone security code is entered. To reset it, you need the Master code code:
Master Reset Code
Sometimes known as the Master Code, this allows you to unlock a handset if you have entered the Security Code wrongly too many times.
Which is the one that you want?
The default security code for Nokia is 12345

SOURCE: security code for 6133

Open phone, don't go to any menus. Dial *#7780# and press green send button. It will say if you would like to restore factory settings and say yes. Then it asks for a code. This is when you put 12345 and then press OK. This should help because it did for me.

GOOD LUCK!!

What is the security code for nokia 7230 with imei number 354337048423972 plzzzzzzzzzz 12345 is not working

You can try putting in the Security code listed below. This is based on your IMEI number

IMEI: 354337048423972 Security Mastercode: 6562246554
This should bypass the security code of your phone. Still having trouble? You need to contact Nokia

Unlocking a samsung sch-r510 l

When you place a new or a existing SIM card from another phone provider into your mobile phone and it asks for a Security Code then :-
This phone is locked to the original mobile phone provider. You need to contact this mobile provider to ask for the unlock code (Security Code) for this phone. You need to provide proof of ownership etc and the phone's unique IMEI number which is located inside the phone under the battery. They use this number to generate the unlock code for your phone.
They should provide you with instructions on how to enter this code into the phone.
Once you unlock the phone, then you can insert a new SIM card in this phone or sign up with another phone provider using this phone.

You could ring the phone provider and ask for the unlock security code because you are going overseas and wish to use your phone with a prepaid SIM card from another country. This may be a free service.
The other way to get your phone unlock is to use a phone unlocking company on the Internet, they usually charge a couple of Dollars for their services. Use Google and search for "Security unlocking code” companies in your area.
You can also try this WEB site :-
http://www.mobileunlockguide.com/mobile-phone/
The IMEI number is unique the each mobile phone.
The number is printed on the label under the battery.
You can also get the IMEI number by entering this on your phone
*#06# It will then display your IMEI number and you may also get a unique global serial number. Your IMEI number should be 15 digits.

Plz help me unlock my security code..Nokia 6288

hi, i can give you the master code but you need to read this first ok.
1. the master code wont work if you have entered 5 wrong codes as the phone will be hard locked and can only be unlocked using flash lead and unlocking software.
2 the code only works if the phone asks for security code when first swtched on.

If you have not entered 5 wrong codes then this master code will reset the security code and remove it unless you want to put another security code back on the phone.
enter this code when asked for security code ok 4365426660.

This code will only work with your imei number as every single phone has a unique master code based on the imei number ok so double check the imei number before trying the code.
Any problems just give me a shout back ok.
