How can i fix dir 615 ssid stop broadcasting issue?

Step 1: Open your web browser and type in the IP address of the router (192.168.0.1 by default).
Step 2: Enter the username (admin) and password
Step 3: Under Setup Select the Wireless tab
Step 4: On Wireless Tab - Select Invisible if you do not want the SSID of your wireless network to be broadcasted by the DIR-615. If Invisible is selected, the SSID of the DIR-615 will not be seen by Site Survey utilities so your wireless clients will have to know the SSID of your DIR-615 in order to connect to it.

How many ip camera can this device handle? i already have 4 existing and it works just fine. How is it if I add 4 more ip camera? Is it going to work well?

Hi,
D-Link DIR-615 is a Wireless N 300 Router, which delivers great performance, network security and coverage, etc. I have deployed a similar D-Link Router for about 10 Wired and wireless client PCs in a network for file, print and internet sharing and it performed without any issues. So, I think, you can add additional IP cameras and it should work fine.

Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!

How many wireless computer can i connect on d link DIR-615?

Hi. I hope you find this info to be a help.Well, tchnically, you can have up to 64 devices wirelessly connected to your router, but to ensure that anybody has enough bandwidth to actually do anything, I would go way lower, maybe 5 or 6 connected wirelessly. If you have say, and 10 mb internet connection directly from yourp provider, then first take away 20 % for whats called QOS. This leaves 8 mb to be divided by all the connections. And they will only get the full portion they ALL run al the same wireless level...i.e. 802.11 a/b/g/n.
G and N being the fastest, but the entire network gets stepped down to the slowest connection to allow for concatenation, a fancy word for text word fragmentation control.
Like say you type: snow ball, well concatenation will refoem it into snowball all one word.
