Question about SanDisk Sansa m230 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Not working Tried to send it out to the tech place to retrieve the files and they came up with nothing. The only one that shows up is the one they accidently put on, it lasts 2 seconds and that's it. If by chance they tried to format it to the computer where would I look to see if it's there?

perform recovery mode on the player and connect the player to thec omputer. when it is connected and the player is detected as a removable disk drive namely 16MB Format. Create a file inside the drive named sansa.fmt and that would format the player and remove any corrup files that you may have transferred to the player.Recovery mode is Hold Switched Enabled+Record Button+Menu button.

I had this very same problem. To fix this problem you have to re-flash your RCA MP3 player with the following file: My RCA Model RD 1072a as worked fine since flashing the player with this file.
