I tried searching on the internet for where I can find a manual to download. Apart from that with the device itself, I took out the cord cartridge and had to manually try to extract the cord.It did not pull through and advance if I pulled the cord and it did not advance with tapping the bump feed head on the pathway.

I work in a shop repairing these printers and have had a large number with the same fault - displaying E-3 with no jam in the paper path. This is caused by a broken part in the paper feed mechanism that pevents the printer from taking the paper. The part located right at the bottom of the printer looks like two white gears connected together with a central spring. At present I am trying to find a supplier of the spare parts - will check back.

SOURCE: it wont pull the paper through or my feed button will not work
it might be that the paper is not in far another ore there might be a paper jam
