Say the device you want to sync your keyboard to is an I pad.
Follow the I pad's normal Bluetooth pairing procedure. Around the same time, slide the switch on the back of the ip2101 from OFF to ON and then press the black button to the left of that switch. When the I pad recognizes the ip2101 keyboard, the I pad will display a pin number and instructions to type that pin number on the ip2101 keyboard and hit the enter key on the ip2101.
sadly this devices are no longer sold
you should try to find a damaged iHome and use for replacements or find a used one to replace your actual device
ihave an iHome too, and i had made some tricks to keep it working
try unplugging the unit for ten or fifteen minutes and then plug it back in again. That will reboot the processor that controls the display. If that doesn't work, you'll probably have to have the display replaced or at least checked by a professional for water damage or bad connections.
