This is correct. The posts you get in your Inbox are only Notifications (which can be turned on or off). To read the actual posts or respond to them you need to login to your Facebook account.

SOURCE: Cannot log out of Facebook

The solution I found is simple...
1) Go to the "Tools" option in InternetExplorer
2) Then go to "Internet Options"
3) Select the "Delete" option in the browsing history section.
4) Menu will appear, simply UNTICK THE FIRST BOX! which states "Preseve favourites website data".
This will remove the facebook cookie and stuff so when you log out of hotmail you will not see that message about not being able to log out of facebook anymore =]

Hope this helps It really should!

SOURCE: can not log into my facebook home page

Why dont you try using Mozilla Firefox as a browser instead?

Chances are you need to either update your Virtual Java Machine or clear your browser cache... see here for additional help.

SOURCE: i cannot read my inbox messages...facebook keep on

Hello :

It seems that your
web browser is not stable . Here is what to do : Just go to www.microsoft.com and download internet explorer again and install it , then reboot your system . I'm sure that this will solve the problem . any way , why don't you try other internet communication softwares like ( firefox or google chrome) those both are great also . I advice you to have more than one internet communication software . I already have three just in case if one of them is corrupted . I have ( Internet explorer and firefox and google chrome ) . just try the idea and you'll be satisfied with the result

If this solution is helpful please click a thumbs-up rating below.

Have a great day,

How do I get back to my normal inbox? I'm not remotely interested in all these other obscenities?

After you log into your G-mail, look for an icon - gear wheel. (mine is on the top right side under my email address.)
The gear wheel is for all settings options.
Click it and explore the tabs to find what you want to change.
The General, Inbox, & Theme tabs would be my guess.
As always you can google google (lol) for how to revert back.

Try logging out and then log in again. If it still won't work, try using a different browser or a different computer and check if you can do it.

Either your account has been suspended due to a violation of policies or is hacked. If your account is disabled by Facebook, you will see the message after trying to log in. If you do not see that your account is hacked. May be using a fake page (Phishing). You can mail to Facebook and ask for help. Especially if you faced security issues.
If you feel that your account has been compromised, use this link to report.
If you have Violated (or not Violated intensionally) the Policies, please use this link to report.
Security Best Practices with Facebook:
Change your mail password. Never save passwords in browsers. Always clear Browser cache and Temporary internet files. Use this link to log in to Facebook. Bookmark it. Look for the padlock. Use Firefox of IE8. Always check the address bar to verify the link. Use a strong Anti Virus solution to protect you from Phishing. Such as Bitdefender. Never use login links in your Mail Box. Facebook never send Login Pages to inbox. Check for other Facebook links as well (check the Status bar at the bottom of your Browser to know the actual Address) Never use shortened links (like http:\bt.ly etc) Use Facebook notifications and Inbox rather than using your Mail Inbox. Do not use Unknown applications in Facebook. There are many Phishing Trojans. Keep your PC free of Viruses.
Follow the steps to avoid any difficulties such as Security threats.
There is an action limitation in FB. Do not over use any feature within 60 seconds. You will get warned. If you exceed the action 100 times your account will be suspended or deactivated.
Hope this would help. Please rate the answer if this solution helped you!

Hello wasnt able to read or open my facebook inbox message?

  1. Make sure that you are using the most recent version of your internet browser. otherwise update your browser.
  2. Try manually refreshing the page a few times (Ctrl+r on PCs; Cmd+r on Macs).
  3. Check if this issue is occurring on a different computer as well.
As a temporary solution, you can also visit your Inbox on Facebook Lite.

Why Can;t I go on my home page anymore? Jeannette German . Im always asked to signe in .Then Face Book does not accerp my password ,or tells me there is already a listing

this could be because your account is "temporarily closed due to maintenance." This occasionally happens to me, and the page takes ages to load. if the problem persists for hours i would suggest typing in something like http://www.facebook.com/inbox/ or give another link to the site. also, you could try going to facebook.com/login and trying to log in there instead of from the main page.
