Point your web browser at Welcome to Facebook Log In Sign Up or Learn More

If another account comes up, log out of it by clicking the down-pointing triangle in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out."

If you then still can't log in to your account, click the "Forgot your password?" link located just below the password box on the login page.

If you're getting an error message, what does it say?

I know it could be a little too late, but , in the case of losing your Facebook account altogether you should try backing it up with a little application called SocialSafe -

Facebook. I seem to now have two facebook pages. My original account has been hacked and I cannot find or access. Sending people inappropriate spam. When I try to use facebook help centre it just takes me...

If you can't find you original account, that would indicate it has gone, been deleted. Just carry on with your new account.

If you can find your old account by searching for your name or if you have an old email that mentions the website address of your old account, you can try and access it from there. If you do find it, report is as being stolen from you and ask them to close it permanently.

RiWhy can;t I find original account? originally signedonto facebook july 2014 Had computr reset because of virus Can;t get original account paddword sah121930 help me

Chances are the games you were playing caused the virus in the first place. Second, just reset your password using that email. If you no longer use that email, you have to create a new account. No other way around it.

Are you there reginald?

If your request to reset is returning that they can not find your emails as registered accounts then those email accounts are not the correct ones tied to your account. Deleting your history does not delete the account from the Facebook servers so the best you can do is continue trying to figure out what email you registered to Facebook with. If the email you used is no longer active you will be unable to reset the account and it may be lost to you.
If you figure out the correct email and can not reset the password due to the email being inactive then you may have to create an account with a new working email. If you have to do this you may then contact Facebook support and attempt to explain the circumstances and see if they can change your original account to be your working email and a reset password.
Best of luck.

My email was used to confirm another account,my facebook gone now

Hi. I had a similar problem... it can be fixed! Email facebook and explain what happened. Be patient and persistent.
send email to:
the first email I received back from them (day after I emailed) was generic saying:
"Our records indicate that there is not a disabled account associated with the address you are writing from. If you are referring to another account that has been disabled, please contact us directly from the email address you use to log in to that account..."
Except the email I was using DID belong to my missing account. So I replied with the SAME original message. And detailed what happened to my account.
I received a SECOND response, identical to the first.
I emailed them AGAIN detailing what happened.
FINALLY (about 1 1/2 weeks later) I received this email:
"Hi Chelsey,
Your original account has been reactivated and you should be able to access it now. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you have any further questions, please visit our Help Center at the following address:
Thanks for contacting Facebook,
