I get an E4 message and machine will not work. There is no E4 code in the manual and I have cleaned everything and made sure buttonholer is up. No luck. Can anyone help please?
We can't begin to help you without know what machine you have. If the E4 message indicates to clean the machine, then apparently something was missed. Perhaps debris in the feed dogs, broken thread stuck somewhere...

My SoleusAir portable air conditioner has an "e4" code.
Here are the SoleusAir error codes...
e2 Room temperature outside of working range of unit (too cold).
e3 Faulty coils - Repairs needed.
e4 Internal frost in the unit - Defrost.
e5 General failure - repair needed.
e7 Reservoir full - Empty the reservoir.
If the unit is freezing up (frosting) you may want to check (clean / replace) the filters.

The air conditioner gives me an E4 problem error, it starts up fine then afetr only a few minutes it shuts down... how do i solve this problem? how do i fix it?? please help me?
E4 is an"Abnormality of Outdoor Unit." There are many reasons. 1. High discharge temp due to condenser coil blocked or less rpm of fan motor. Clean coil or replace fan capacitor. 2. No gas and hence pumping oil. Find leak and arrest it. Recharge gas.

Error code Df and e4
E4 Outdoor activation of low pressure switch/ less suction pressure.

Check back pressure, which should be 60 PSI when ambient temp 98 degree.If not Short of gas- find leak and arrest. And do gas charging. Even due to indoor coil dust blocked also e4 arise. Clean the coil and reset it.
