What kind of block heater is it? There are a couple of types. One goes in the freeze plug hole and the other fits inline on a coolant hose.

Testimonial: "Well there is no heater hose because there's no cab so it doesn't have that option. I took out a frost plug and there's not enough room to fit a block heater in there, so that won't work. Called bobcat and they said you can put a block heater in a threaded hole that has a plug in it. But that threaded hole isn't a plug there"

But that threaded hole doesn't have a plug, it has a fitting on it with a small 5/16 hose going to the oil filter adapter( probably an oil cooler) so can just block it off

The coolant type block heaters can have a large hose connection. That would be for a radiator type hose size. The fre3ze plug type are usually bent at a 90 degree angle and fit up into the water jacket. IT can be a tight fit. A small hose like you are describing is probably not a coolant hose.http://www.tractorpartscatalog.info/trac...

I have a 943 Bobcat skid steer. Where do I get a block heater for it & how do I install it?

You can order it from any auto parts store, it goes in the engine block, you must remove one of the core cleanout plugs AKA freeze plugs.

Where do i add water in a melroe m600

check that you can open the rear of the unit, pins on one side and hinges on the other . This reveals the radiator and allows certain access to the motor.

Radiator water in oil of my John Deere 310A backhoe. What steps do I take to repair.

You have either a blown head gasket, cracked block or craacked head. Major work ahead. Hopefully, the water didn't mess up your main bearings.
