SOURCE: TROMM ultra capacity washer water levels

these machines are mean on water and you can open the door after wash starts
use good quality soap powder that suits front loaders and always wash at 40 deg or above

also if you use conditioner in rinse cycle stop using that
it can cause same problem

SOURCE: Dispenser fills with water.

The reason there is still water in the dispenser, and this in normal by the way, is the unit uses the pre wash and main wash valve to activate the fabric softener. Basically when the two valves come on they force water into the fabric softener compartment. There can be some overflow and it ends up in the blue cup nothing to worry about. Now if you have detergent there, then that is a problem..

SOURCE: Spots on clothes after washing

Put another filter on before the washer. Try to find out if it is in the hot water or the cold. If it is the cold try a filter. If it is the hot, replace your hot water tank.

SOURCE: Greasy looking spots on clothing after washing/drying.

Without seeing the spots, this is a bit speculative, but here goes,......
I'm guessing that the spots are only found on the front side, primarily of shirts, or blouses, etc. These are from grease splatters from cooking, which many times only show up after washing and drying.
The soap releases some dirt, which is attracted to the non-removed grease spot, allowing it to show up. Re-wash the clothing, pre-spotting those areas with a citrus pre-spotter.

The washer won't keep enough water in it to wash the clothes

This is what is called a 'high efficiency' washer, meaning that it is supposed to use a minimum amount of water to clean clothes as opposed to older washers that just filled up the tub to a fixed level. You also need to use special 'HE' (high efficiency) detergent in these machines (read labels carefully for amount to use also). Most major brands of detergent have "HE" liquid detergents available - look on the bottle for the HE logo. If this doesn't work, run through the troubleshooting steps in your owners manual and if that doesn't work, and the machine is under warranty, call for a warranty repair.

No detergent or water filling washing machine

Your outlet pipe may be fitted to low, it has to be raised above the level of water the machine will take in otherwise it will go straight out the drain pipe.

Two problems . . . . 1) the detergent dispenses into the wash but when I go to do the next wash, the place where I put detergent in is filled with water????? 2) the washer doesn't seem to be putting enough...

You may have sediment in the valve screen or the valve just won't open completely. In either case i suggest replacing the valve. Your 2 problems are both associated with low flow from the water valve.

Doesnt seem to be cleaning good. should i not be putting so many clothes in it? should I use more soap? I feel like the clothes barely get wet!

These washers use very little water. (about 2 inches in the bottom of the wash tub) The actual amount used will vary based on the volume of clothes and the type. (snythetic clothes do not absorb much water, but put in a load of cotton towels, for example, and the clothes absorb the water, causing the water level to drop, and the machine will add more water to return the level to the set point, which usually takes a several short fills, over a couple minutes)
To see that the clothes are indeed wet, just pause the machine a few minutes into the cycle. The door will unlock, and you can feel how wet they are. When the cycle completes, these machines spin so much faster (about twice as fast as most top loading machines) that the clothes feel very dry. (thus reduced drying time, and additional energy savings) Because of the lower water usage (about 12 gallons vs. about 45 for a top loader) make sure you only use 1 to 2 (max) tablespoons of HE detergent per cycle, and only 1 teaspoon of fabric softner if you use it. (don't use fabric softner on towels) Using too much addatives will cause odor issues, and possible performance issues.

Dirt left in creases after washing clothes. Clothes never look clean

Too many clothes in the load , if it says 5lb then that is the maximum you should fill it with otherwise the clothes do not seperate as they are being agitated

Not enough detergent (Try the old powder types)

Hard Water area (Use a small amount of Washing Soda)

Water level too low , use add water button if fitted

Clothes smell musty like wet towels after washed and dried.

check your detergent you are using, it should be a HE detegrent for High Efficency machines, too much regular detergent will suds up and nver be removed from clothing causing such a smell.a quick test to see if your using too much detergent, grab a sock form oyour drawer(clean one) place it in a glass of water and swish it up and dowen a few times, if soapy bubble wateris present then youre over soaping!

Kenmore Elite HE3 water problem

These washers are designed to use less water (about 5 to 7 gallons) per washload as opposed to the standard 35 gallon capacity of top loaders. That's why they are considered High Efficiency washers. They use less water, less electricity to run, and spin at a higher rate to extract as much water from your clothing as possible. That's also why the use of HE detergent is mandatory with these units. The detergent is formulated to be used with washers that use less water. If you are using standard detergent you are, in affect, putting a higher concentration of soap in the washer, because it is formulated for use in a 35 gallon capacity tub. This can cause the premature failure of gaskets, seals and the drain pump, as well as, leaving residual soap in your clothes. Now...I'm not accusing you of improperly using your appliance. I'm merely giving you information that a lot of consumers just don't realize.

I don't know how others have been adding water to the wash tub, unless they stop the unit and pour water in the tub. I personally would not recommend it, because you're deluting the detergent in the process. The detergent has cleansers and suspenders that help clean your clothing and help suspend the dirt away from your clothes. Adding water would only reduce the cleaning ability of the detergent you are using. Also, take note of the HE detergent you do use. Some of them are double (2X) and triple (3X) concentrated. Which means you only have to use a little to do the same job.

I personally own one of these washers and have never had a problem with getting clothes clean by using HE detergent with the current water per load capacity. I hope this helps you. Let me know if you still have questions.

Washer water level low, clothes come out dry !!

This is the water saver feature and the only solution may be to put it on the maximum wash cycle to get clothes really clean.
These washers normally get the clothes almost dry.
