This is not really my expertise. But what I can tell you sounds like one or two chipsets may be playing up. Often hidden settings keyboard keys to manual buttons can sometimes be culprits mechanical intermit shorting assigned sets to the certain tasks is a possibility.
A lot of trouble shooting web pages is often unhelpful because of automation. Search engines can only go by the tile and text in the pages found matching visitors key words not context. All we are doing is providing title and words found in text information. Sites can be too general to help narrow down specific faults and work rounds.
A helpful alternative are service repair technicians who recognize straight away the problem your describing. They may have knowledge of hidden settings recognize the characteristic signature of you model. It is usually those who have fixed electronics hundreds and thousands of times before experienced enough at recognize your description and model they are familiar with.
Another helpful area patrolling the internet for your brand and model reviews in your search engine. All we can do is Trial and error with keywords hopefully find guides to buying selling and understand second hand electronic and goods. There is lots for cars, buyers guides to.......model lover........title examples. In the case of electronics performance review reports on second hand goods, written by repair technicians passing on advice to seller and buying alike guides to various models to avoid, fixing problems ready for selling, and shearing discovered work rounds and offering helpful tips ideal for DIY repair advice.
You tube and other video sites can be an exiting place to dabble in. Use key works that describe your model and fault description.
