That indicates that your power went off. Try pressing the reset button and setting the clock.

Replaced blown broiler element on Maytag oven mer5765qaq. Display did not come back on . stove top still works.

Good afternoon Schurtzfamil.

For a number of appliances, there can be recurring hiccups with displays after power is interrupted. Hopefully you unplugged the oven, or opened the breaker when you did the element replacement.

The manual can be downloaded here (
http://www.maytag.com/digitalassets/MER5765QAQ/Use%20and%20Care_EN.pdf ) There are a number of troubleshooting tips, including things like 'it's in Sabbath Mode, which is why the display isn't responding' that might help.

Lame as it may sound, the answer in many cases with the confused, power-interrupted display is to go back to the breaker, turn it off for a couple of minutes, then turn it back on. That will give it time for completely power down, and hopefully start normally this time. Hoping this helps! Good Luck!

Whirlpool stove pf

A pf code usually shows up if the power to the stove has been interrupted for a short time. It is usually cleared by setting the clock or setting the oven or broil.

If your machine is AR-5316,
The problem is in the fusing unit try these steps:

STEP1: Press continuously CLEAR then INTERRUPT then ZERO then INTERRUPT

STEP2: The panel display will turn off it means that you are inside the simulation if not repeat again step1.

STEP3.Then type 14 then press the print button

If these steps doesn't work you must call an authorized serviceman to check your machine, maybe something is busted on the fusing unit like thermostat or fusing lamp.

You're stove must be perfectly fine, but the thing displaying all those options may have a problem. Try to get this fixed as soon as possible.

Maytag Gemini Electric stove fault code F 1-2 when using the oven(s)

The oven temp sensor has gone bad.  F1-2 would be for the lower oven and F1-1 would mean the upper oven.  If you give me the model # from the sticker on the oven I can direct you to a diagram, part #, and price.  These are very easy to replace.  Should be located inside the oven in the upper right or left hand side.  It looks like a silver rod about 4-8 inches long and crimped on the end.  Most of them can be removed from inside the oven by removing the two screws, pull out the sensor (harness and all) plug in the new sensor, put the screws back in and your done.  Some have to be removed from the back of the oven by removing the lower, larger back panel and follow the same process as mentioned above.  Hope this helps.
