If your problem started after replacing the batteries (mine did), see this: http://www.walkie-talkie-radio.co.uk/replacing-cobra-walkie-talkie-rechargeable-batteries.html If that is your problem, you can also fix it by wrapping foil around the bottom of the battery that makes that touches the bottom side charging contact.
Better go in person to the center and get repaired. If you send the piece , it might get lost or some king of problem might occur. So please take to your near center and get it repaired.
