Printer won't print print. Computer recognizes the printer', but if I try to print an e-mail, it won't print the contents of the e-mail, but will print the ad that runs down the right hand side of the screen.

That is not a printer problem it is a combination of your printer driver add email program.

Thanks for the tip...the problem is NOT a black line but a wide yellow line on the right side of the paper. It starts out about a quarter of the page in width and diminishes in size to about a half inch in width after many repeated scans.

The glass IS clean , and even when the glass had some smudges here and there, I never had a yellow stripe problem!

Scanner bulb is bright and even the entire length of bulb (no dark areas) so I don't think it is the bulb!

SOURCE: Print fading down right hand side

I was able to fix it by taking off the top of the printer. This involved taking off 4 screws on the top of the printer. I then had to disconnect the wires going to the control panel by unhooking them from the right side. I then located a thin rectangular box which I'm assuming houses the laser. I removed this with 4 more screws and turned it over. There was a little metal flap that I moved back and below was the mirror the lasers shoot on before going onto the toner.

In the same spot where I was having fading, I noticed a lot of toner on the mirror, so I cleaned it of, put it back together, and the fading was gone.

This was after I tried a new toner and maintenance kit.

There is a tiny spec on the scanner glass. Cleaning it will make the line go away.

if you have a print job stuck go in and hit cancel job. If it stays even after a few min right click "my computer" on your desktop and hit "manage" go to "services and applications" click "services" find the print spooler option and right click it and stop the service. Once stoped right click it again and start it. This should clear anything stuck in print queue trying to delete

it may have had a dirt inside that may have been causing the lines. try cleaning with a soft dry cloth then try to print. reseat first the toner before you clean or wipe with a soft cloth

Computer won't detect printer


A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer (if USB connected)> reboot your pc > unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. How do i get my Lexmark X2350 Printer to send e-mail? I scan my documents, but the new e-mail box does not appear after the scan like its suppose to.


Make sure that your default email program is correctly set on your computer.

My hp deskjet d1460 only prints half a page when i try to print in my hotmail page.Ive been into re-alignment & it says i don't need to re-align as I'm only using one catridge


are you able to print any document from your local computer if so your driver and your print are both fine, check print preview before printing your hotmail mails, if still not coming alright try high content to be printed only

Printing from the desktop of an apple G5


If still unable; got to explorer and copie and then paste in a new folder on desktop. Note Printers will print documents that are recognized by your computer. Does not print programes
