Question about Sharp Televison & Video
Try a reset to this TV first. If it do not help you, contact any service technician. Its video output section circuit should be checked. Technically this fault is called "One color predominant screen". If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight; will be better.

since you have sound and display it's not the hivoltage. You're electron guns are not being turned on. Most likely the IC which biases the guns or the IC which contains the biasing resistors.

Yeah no color coz its black and white. Color coding commonly yellow wire for video, red and white wire for audio. It should also be from DVD to TV, video out and audio out going to video in and audio in. And switch the TV to play video and the audio inputted. Maybe TV/Video Switch or button.
Hope it helps
