Computer crashed and I reloaded the ped-basic and works like it did before but when I put the memory card in my machine it said the card is not for this machine help

You can't. Read only means just that, you can't write to it you can READ only. Some have software that will erase the contents of the card if you try it.
However, check if your sewing machine will work with Windows 10. The list is here: http://support.brother.com/g/s/hf/os/windows10/win10_hsm_us.html . With some sewing machines, no USB driver is available for Windows 10. For these, you need to put the designs on a USB flash drive to import them on the sewing machine. For other machines, you may need to add a serial port card to the computer or get a USB to serial port converter to connect the card reader/writer. The best converters have an option to change the pin assignments. A lot of older serial devices did not use the pin standard that was eventually developed.)

Usually this indicates a design larger than 4x4. Check the design on you PED Basic to see what size it is and then use a sizer program to shrink it if that is the problem.
go to brothers website and they have a software support section if they dont have a patch you can send them an e-mail and they are very good about responding
my brother embroidery has quit working and I do not know why. A message comes up on my machine saying, "this embroidery card can not be used. Unusable cards include carded licensed for sale in other countries. No embroidery pattern. I have used this card many times in the past
I haven't got the 600 buyt I do have a Bernette Deco and when I save designs on my USB stick I have to ensure they are saved to a particular folder in the stick. Perhaps there is a similar type of requirement?
